Question about which gauge wire

Sorry to start a new thread. Can someone help me with picking up some wire? I will be using a Smoktech RSST and I desire the ohm range of 1.2 to 1.8. Would 30 gauge or 32gauge kanthal A-1 be more suitable for my needs?

I found this somewhere:
28 AWG Kanthal A-1 .47 ohm/in, 5.6 Ohm/ft
30 AWG Kanthal A-1 .69 Ohm/in, 8.3 Ohm/ft.
32 AWG Kanthal A-1 1.21 Ohm/in, 14.53 Ohm/ft.
34 AWG Kanthal A-1 2.23 Ohm/in, 26.70 Ohm/ft.

This doesn't really mean anything to me as of yet though. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

30 AWG give you 1,2-1,5 ohm about 5-6 wrap.
28 AWG give you 1,2-1,5 ohm about 8-10 wrap.

more wrap = higher ohm
more thick of the wire = lower ohm

i think go for 28 AWG so you can make a micro coil, more flavor and TH, even though they cost abit more because the wrap

You can't really do a micro coil on a RSST.

Go with Kanthal 30.

You've got a multi-meter or another way to check resistance/shorts, yes?

Yes sir, I did get a multimeter. Bought this one from amazon. Can you check if that will be good enough?

I also bought the re-usable vapesafe 2 along with my 18490 aw imr batteries. I'll be really cautious throughout the entire process before I get rebuilding down.
