Hey All,
I have not flown in a few years and I have a business trip coming up. I am just wondering if anyone has flown recently and/or any issues with having vape gear with you or new regulations I should be aware of?

I will be flying in the US Minnesota to Arizona.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I haven't heard of anything new. Haven't flown for a while, with all the cancellations and delays and anti-masker crazies it didn't seem like a good idea.

Even if the rules are still the same if I was planning a trip tomorrow I would take some old gear I wasn't too bothered about losing, or get some pods. Guess you could call the airline though in the past I've heard that led to unreliable information.

Haven't flown for a while, with all the cancellations and delays and anti-masker crazies (i.e., people who don't believe every thing the government tells them to believe) it didn't seem like a good idea.

It needed an alternative viewpoint.

There are no changes to the rules. Treat eliquid as a liquid and bag them, batteries may stay in your devices, just ensure they are turned off. Don't vape on the plane.

Recently flew from SA to Houston/Dallas to Richmond VA and return for a funeral. :( -He was a smoker younger than I am.

Were you mods integrated battery mods or 18650 mods. If 18650 mods, did you have batteries loose or contained in the mod?
Both. I had the Coolfire 4 and Solo, 4 loose 18650’s, and about 100mls of juice. I even had my juice and shampoos in different bags in separate areas of my carry on (everyone else might keep them all together).

I have an alternate viewpoint: Flying was bad enough for the last 20 years due to the security theater at airports, overbooked flights, and shrinking seats. Now it's downright insufferable, so if I can't drive there, I'm not going.

I last flew pre-9/11, I hated it then. Given Homeland and many other indignities, I can't imagine what it must be like today. Fortunately, I'll never know what it is like today.

I swore off flying after the Shoe Bomber... One day, Quick in and out for TDY, 2 days later, even in full uniform and Mil ID, the boots "Had" to come off.. Such utter BS!

Unfortunatly I had a few more flights due to the militay.
Since then, this was the only time I "had" to fly as a civilian.. a 24 hour road trip for a funeral wasn't in the cards.. :(

Not sure if anyone is watching this thread, but I figure I would follow up after my flight.

First thanks to those that responded.

I had no issues flying domestic in the USA. I had 1 mod on me and two more in my check bags. Juice was also in my checked bag.

TSA didnt look twice at the mod in my pocket and everything was there in my checked bag when I arrived.
