I just made my drip cup and connector using a pex sweat adapter and drilling a 1/16 hole through a 510 connector. I used a 16awg blunt tip needle for my center tube.

My question is. How far should the needle stick out of the connector(the part the atty screws on to)

Here is what I have so far. still needs some finishing work and gluing.

My feed tube on the 510 connector doesn't stick up at all.
The hole is flush on the positive pin...the Atty screws onto the 510 connector and the holes generally align, but doesn't necessarily have to. Some modders have even removed the center pin and insulator and slit the insulator. Reinstall everything and the slit gives the juice a path to follow.

But, to go back and answer your question, the feed tube does not need to extend past the 510 and act as a pin for the Atty to sit on.

Hope this helps... Show us the mod when you finish please!

Thanks
Geo
