Question for Blackberry owners

So I am sick of carrying around a seperate phone charger when:

A) I am around USB chargers/Computers all day especially now since I have one for my ecig in my car and also a portable one


So I need a phone that can charge in USB..I had the same phone for 10 years (yea lol) and I need something new...My carrier (sprint) is offering blackberry curve 8330......So my question is..Does this charge from USB..I checked the manual and I checked all over the web and I am unable to verify this from anywhere......

I have a wing by t-mobile - it uses usb mini charger... Its made by HTC and pretty much every carrier has their version....

I have never seen a USB charger for any blackberry. Switch to AT&T and get an iPhone : )

Well I dont have good credit so if I switch to anything its like a 500$ deposit....So thats not really an option for me..I gotta stick with sprint

i don't know about everyone else Rita ... but my iPhone 3G charges via USB cable

Yeah It Uses Mini-USB Charging Port, U Can Charge It By This USB to Mini-USB Cable Here

So You Can Charge Via Your Computer USB Port or AC to DC USB Adapter

Yup. Storm is micro-USB.

all of the blackberrys released in the last 4 years as well as the iphone can be charged via a standard usb port...and most if not all come with the cable.

The "micro-usb" that people are talking about for the BBs is on the phone end, the other end is a standard usb plug.

Go with an HTC (all carriers sell this one) or a Samsung Omnia from Verizon. The Omnia is one incredible phone for productivity. iPhones are more multi-media focused and don't include productivity software like the BB.

Sure it does, I charge mine everyday at work using the included USB cable. It even comes with a USB to outlet converter so you can plug it into the wall.

Jeremy, yeah it's kind of a bummer that these are $200 plus 2 years with AT&T. Good working phone/everything tho.

I can confirm also it charges through usb with it hooked to a laptop or regular usb connection from a desktop.

Yes, I own a 8330 with verizon and love it!! It is a workhorse!!

Yes it can charge via a usb port with the proper cable (USB to USB Mini cable).

Iphone...ATT..... Don't think so.....
