Question for the modders out there

Hey all, I've put together a quick and dirty mod using an altoids tin with an 18650 batt and a small bottom feeding vial. For the most part it works fine, good vapor and the battery is lasting for 2 or 3 days. My issue with it is the liquid leaks through the connector hole back down into the box. Not a lot but after a couple weeks using it its getting messy inside. I can see a few ways to seal it better but I'm afraid I won't be able to remove the vial for refilling. I'm wondering if this is a typical problem with bottom feeders or has anyone else found a solution?

I will simply say, I have no idea. But I do know that we have a modders section here you can post in after you get a few more posts under your belt. You need 5 posts before you can post elsewhere. So answer me. :) You can search around and read the modders threads. The answer may be there. And....I'm sure someone who has a clue about this will probably be by shortly with the answer. Welcome to ECF.

Did you use a sealed battery connector? Is it coming in from the atty on the bottom or from around the edges. I'm guessing it must be the edges. any number of epoxies can be used to stop this. Take off the atty and seal from the inside around the battery connector. Heck you can probably use super glue or guirilla glue or even jb weld if you can't find a good epoxy.

Just be carefull to avoid getting it on the tube and the vial.
