After reading through many of the threads on this site and seeing the almost cult like following the Reo has, and doing some research. I have decided that within the next month or so I'm going to have to pull the trigger on a Reo. I am still trying to sort out which atomizer I should get and have seen that while many people use the ones from the Reo site a lot of people are modding other atomizers to work. Currently the closest I have to an rda is my Orchid tank that I use on my Hades. I have seen some amazing reviews and a lot of big fans of the Mutation X, and I really like the price range and adjustable air flow. So big question is has anyone successfully converted one of these RBAs to bottom feeder, or is there something that would prevent doing this? I am still rather new to a lot of this so any info would be great, Thx.

It depends what you are looking for. For in your face flavor nothing beats the RM2 (with a drilled out air hole for lower ohms) or a Cyclone (also drilled).

I'm currently running these and my favorite sub ohming cloud machine, the Odin.

I have a Mutation X that was modded by Chowderhead to BF but don't care for the vape on it myself. Maybe I just haven't hit the right build on it for me but so far it's not a favorite. The only issue for BF is the stock positive pin is copper. CH replaced it with stainless for drilling and it feeds and drains, and makes contact, perfectly.

I agree with everything B2L said above.

The first thing you should prolly sort out is your vaping style. If you're a mouth2lung flavour chaser, the RM2 is your huckleberry. If you prefer direct lung draws, the RM4 or RM5, of Rob's atties, would work well, and the Odin (available from Loki Labs as a bf modded atty) is the current darling of dual coil cloud machine nirvana.

If you vary your vaping style a lot - different build and draw styles - the RM4 and Cyclone with afc are prolly the most versatile atties and cover the most range.

If it were my money, I'd seriously consider a RM2 (pretty much a staple in most reonauts' gear stash) and a RM4 for the cost effective range they'd give. Single coils, dual coils, mellow m2l draws, intense direct lung'ers - it's all there for the having. From there, you could dial it up with an Odin if you found something lacking.

Wow thanks for the quick replies everyone. I am thinking I will go along the lines of what Papa_Lazarou said and pick up a RM2 or RM4 to start with. I do enjoy the big lung hits off my mech/orchid so leaning towards the RM4. Plus then I can throw together a build as soon as I get the money together and get it shipped. Being as my next payday falls on the wife's birthday I don't think I will get away with ordering one just yet lol.

You cant go wrong with an RM2. It really is great! Im not a lung-hitting, dual coiling sub-ohmer so its perfect for me as is. R2 has an BF Odin on it and it works wonderfully as a single coiler! Plus it looks pretty cool on it as well!

In response to the OP, I don't consider REOVille a cult- like following, just a bunch of people who enjoy a great vaping machine. I would recommend the RM2, unless you are going low-profile. LP has to do with the height of the catch cup, where you screw your atty/ attachment in. If you get an Low Profile Reos, get an LP Atty. The flavor you will get from a Reos will pleasantly surprise you. Welcome to REOVille.

My wife just happened to have some glitter fingernail polish that was almost a match for the door. I put about 6 coats on the button with some clear coat nail polish! A little ghetto but ot turned out pretty good!

Another vote for the RM2. For mouth to lung it's perfect; it's easy to build and is light in weight on top of the Reo. I do have a Magma modded for BF and it is a great atty with a 1.2ohm single coil that has unlimited air flow options. I'm almost afraid to put dual sub ohm coils on this one. Flavor is neck and neck with the RM2 and has more vapor by far but it is big and heavier. The RM4/Atomic I have is getting less vape time lately.

I have 7 RM2's, 1 RM3, 2 VA Cyclone's , an IGO-S, a new Atomic from CH and a new Infinite CLT that he shipped to me in error (I'll never use it), and other's modded BF for the Reo's. The Atomic (what RM4's are modded from) is not being used either. Some of them are modded with larger airways, some are not.

So what's on my 7 Reo's almost all of the time? 4 RM2's, RM3, Cyclone & IGO-S. These compact/small footprint atty's give me clouds of rich, flavorful vapor for my long lung hits. So I seriously doubt there will ever be any atty larger than them on any of my Reo's.
