Wondering what the best type of vape for someone who recently quit smoking cigarettes would be? Or what would be the closest thing to a pull or smoking. Something not too cloudy. That is actually into the lungs but not crazy complicated at the same time. If possible not all crazy with the changing of coils and the cotton balls and stuff like that? If I could just buy a new pod when needed that would be great.
But I wanted some advice from those who know best!! Which is why I came here. Thanks again!!

You would best be served using a pod system, with low to medium wattage and a higher concentration (12-24 mg/ml, depending on your smoking history) of nicotine salts. You would puff on that similarly to smoking a cigarette, not exactly, but similar. This is called mouth-to-lung (MTL) vaping. There are a lot of good pods out there for MTL vapers. I'd go through some reviews and find one that meets your liking. @hittman does a lot of reviews, many of them pods. His reviews, and others, for pods are here in this subforum:

It all boils down to what features you like and how much you want to spend. Pod systems use replaceable tanks, called pods, which you replace when they break and have inserted coils which will last weeks, depending on how much you vape. No building is required. It's as easy as changing a lightbulb. Some brands to look at would be innokin, Vaporesso, Uwell, Voopoo. This isn't all that's out there that's good, but it's what comes to mind.

    Somewhere between here and there
I’m really liking the Vaporesso Luxe X2. It’s loose to tight MTL and very simple. You can use either disposable pods like come with it or use the other luxe pods where you just change the coil and use the same pod.

If you have never vaped before, be aware that it might make you cough at first so go slow and easy till you see how your lungs react. Vapor is not smoke. Now, if youve already vaped, well never mind all that. Pods are the in thing these days, most have a built-in battery and replacing the pods eliminates building your own coils and what not. I dont use pods myself so I havent been keeping up with the trendy new stuff but i can see their convenience, though replacing my coils when needed isnt really inconvenient. It really comes down to what works best for you to keep from smoking tobacco. And congrats on quitting smoking.

    Congrats on quitting smoking Bubba.

I wish pod vapes and disposables would have been available when I first started vaping. Back then, getting your vape to work right without leaking or giving you dry hits could be a lot of work.

Mind you, there was a really good feeling of achievement you got when you finally cracked how to build a tank. Especially those cranky old time tanks. It might have got boring quite fast if all you had to do was pick up a pod and go.

Part of me kinda misses the old days on ECF when there was a lot of people here trying to make things work. And the fact that vaping is so easy now, is probably part of the reason that there isn't much activity on ECF anymore.

Nicotine comes in 2 forms, Nicotine base and Nicotine salts. It has to do with how the Nicotine is extracted from tobacco. Nicotine salts are smoother and give less throat hit, and it's more addictive. It is usually used in juice with higher Nicotine concentration to cut the harshness. If you are using commercial juice, anything 18 mg/ml or higher is usually prepared with Nicotine salts.
