I currently use the joye ego and have been previously using 2.0ohm cart's and someone said i should try these in Lr to give a more of Th as i find the 2.0ohms a little to soft for my liking,But after reading about danger zones and not being safe i was curious would it be safe to use the 1.5 +- ohm carts on the Ego without any other issues besides perhaps battery drain?

These are the ones i am speaking of in LR

Every now and then, someone will post that a 1.5, 1.6, or 1.7 blew out the mofsets in their eGo battery. I have used as low as 1.6 on mine a couple of times without issue, but not for prolonged periods of time or any serious chainvaping sessions. 2.0 is as low as i would go for daily use on an eGo.

If you want to drop lower than that, you should probably think about getting a mod. eGo batteries are regulated to around 3.2v. A 3.7v mod might liven up those 2.0 ohm carts you're using now, and would allow you to move to lower ohms without worrying about ruining your batteries.

If funds allow, take a look at puresmokers Icon or Prodigy V3. Both can run at 3.7v and you won't have to worry about your batteries. I posted these because your link was to puresmoker's website. I have both units and they are excellent mechanical mods. Any non-proprietary mod that is 3.7v is your best bet to use LR's on.
