Question on Diy Mods circuitry

Hi guys,

am new to modding n would like to know how does an smint mod completes the circuitry?
I know at the bottom of the box, u'd put a battery spring soldered to the hatch. But now does the circuit completes itself?
I thought u'd need a wire connected the spring to the 510 connector to create a closed circuit?
Or does the body of the mod itself becomes part of the circuit?

A body if it made from metal is shure a part of your circuit.

Like slimest said, the metal of the smint box is part of the circuit. The outer shell of the battery connector for the atomizer will be touching the box metal.
