So here is my question, I was talking to a friend last night (fellow vaper) and she said she keeps her juice in the refrigerator. And she said if you have juice to long it can oxidase if kept in a warm environment. I have noticed that some of the juices I have had for awhile have darken since I have gotten them. Now where she gets her juice from they keep their mixtures in a refrigerator. I personally don't get my juice from the same place. Is this true and do you keep your juice in the refrigerator? Just seems kind of strange to me. Any answers would really help!

Thanks,

Mushroomie:confused:

The nicotine does oxidase. Heat does "speed" up this process. Cool dark place works well with normal sized bottles. Typically, we use our liquids faster then this oxidation takes a serious toll on things.

If using 120 ml or bigger unless used quickly (subjective term) refrigeration might be a good idea. The larger bottles can hold larger amounts of air. At the last 5 ml of liquid, there would be 115 ml of air in the bottle.

Regardless, refrigeration can't hurt. Well, maybe it can if your really needing to drip that 100% VG that's been cooled down to 40 degrees F.

Thanks for the help. I do keep it in a cool dry place usually but last week we went camping in a Pop Up Camper and now I have noticed that my juices that I did bring with are darker. The heat must have been to much for them. Oh well I guess this is a learning process still. I thank you for your help.

Peace,

Mushroomie
