Been using a kanger evod kit for a couple of weeks and so far no problems until today.
I had purchased a few new evod clearos the other day. Was using one with no problem.
Today I thought I would try out a juice that I had steeping, so I put some in the new un-used evod.

I let it sit for about ten minutes after giving it an unpowered pull to sorta wet it up.
The first hit I knew something wasn't right. It was like I threw some burning embers onto my tongue.
Of course it didn't take but a few of them and I was done. Still trying to get the taste out of my mouth.

Little bit later I dumped the tank and gave it a good rinse and dry and put a new coil in it.
Try some different juice and all was well.

Okay so here's where the question comes in.
At first I thought it was the juice but now I'm thinking it got burned for some reason.
I got to looking at the coil assembly that I took out and it looks a lot different from all my other evods.
This includes about a dozen spare new ones.

The chimney or tail, not real sure what it's called is shorter that the 13 others that I have.
The nose or contact that touches the battery is shaped different also. It also has different colored seals on it.

Did I just happen to get an evod clearo with the wrong coil assembly?
