Questions about eGo Twist

I am new to this vaping stuff! I have an ego Twist battery and have used the ce4 clearomizers and just started using one similar to the ce4 but you can change out the coils! Are there better clearomizers or cartomizers I can use with it that will make it a better vaping experience? :) Also I have started getting a pretty good stash of different favors...is there a way to clean the clearomizers out so that I can switch out the favors and not have to buy 10 different clearomizers for 10 favors?? Or any advise on changing favors in the clearomizers? Or is there a better clearomizer/cartomizer that would be better for changing flavors? Sorry for all the questions and thanks in advance for any help/advice!! :)

Welcome to Ecig. Lots of great people here to answer all your questions. I will try and help as well.

Depending on the strength of flavor say menthol, or cinnamen, or a coffee flavor it will be a little more difficult to get rid of the flavor without extra measures of cleaning or changing the head. Most of the liquids will go away with a quick rinse under the faucet and let dry. You can use a paper towel and squeez the wicks, BUT be carfull not to pull on the wick. If you move the wick you will be moving the coil inside and likely will cause problems.

In the past I have emptied the tank and just refilled it with a different flavor. After a few puffs the new flavor overpowers the old. Also you may find that the mixture of the two flavors is pretty good tasting. This is the method I most often use.

Others will chime in soon. Some soak theirs in vodka. Others use a flavorless juice and puff untill the flavor goes away. Carto's will be the most difficult to change flavors because there is alot of filler material in there that is soaked in the juice. But again I just put a similar flavor right on top of it and it eventually goes away. In the meantime I enjoy tasting the two flavors together. Cherry goes with just about anything. Watermelon fades away quickly when mixed down. For a no go example I would say don't try starting with a coffee flavor and then try melon. But you could go from a melon to a coffee if that makes sense. Menthol would stay with your clearo forever.

Better clearo's? I use Vivi tanks, and Evods.

Do you know if the CEX is one I could just take the wick out rise in water or vodka and either use for another flavor or pop another one in for another flavor? I just like to do,the best cheapest way I can! I imagine once I get my favorite flavors then just get one for each but right now I am just trying a lot of flavors to see what ones are my favorites!! :) thanks so much to everyone for the help!!

I use CE3 XLs, because they are cheap. They are little tiny pieces of mass produced plastic, so I don't expect too much from them. People say they leak, but I have found they either epically fail (it's only happened once) or they seep very slowly. I still haven't figured out where they are seeping from, but they will show up empty. Supposedly you can clean them, but I don't care :)

I usually have about 15 handy with different flavors in them. Some people hate them with a passion. I hate mustard. This is the cheapest I have found:

CE3 XL Clearomizer [CE3XL] - $8.50 : Vapors Choice, Ecigarettes & Parts

They area also called "Phoenix Bottom Coils" and sometimes "cartomizers" (I have no idea why, they are clearos). Steel Jan has a good video about them on youtube - under the Phoenix name.

Thank you very much! Do you know if these are compatible with the eGo Twist?

Absolutely! They may look a little silly, they are slim like a cig-a-like, but they work fine. I like the small size because it gives me a device to test juice in-between dripping and committing to a larger tank.
