There's now 2 PCC's. Did you get one with a button? If not, you got the standard PCC, they have been arriving mostly fully charged. Just plug it in till the red light turns green, signifying full charge. I've only used it to charge one battery then I recharge it, but I think you can charge at least 3 batts, maybe 4. A dead PCC it will take around 8 hours to charge. A battery will take 3-4 hours and the red light will blink slowly meaning the batt is charged. If you got the push button, the instruction are different.

I just received my new pcc (with the pushbutton). I charged it up and when I push the button it shows a green light and the charge status shows full. My question; when I screw in a baterry, the battery led does not blink as it does when I screw it into my other chargers. Is this normal? And how do I know when the battery is fullly charged? Please and thank you.

I'm sorry to learn that I recieved an old model when there are new ones are available. I can't even tell if this thing is working right. It doesn't blink or do anything to signify that a battery is charged, and the led on the battery never lights up or blinks, not even when I screw it in. And I can't get the pcc to charge unless I keep my laptop on with the lid open, the second I close the lid it stops charging. Is that normal? I don't like to leave my laptop open like that all night if I need to charge the pcc up at bedtime.

Oh, I didn't realize that there is a new PCC. I just ordered last week, but I received the one without the button. Also, I've been charging mine overnight, and I haven't seen a greet light. I actually requested a solid purple, but received the tiger pattern. Can I open a service ticket and exchange?

There is definitely something wrong with this PCC. I woke up this morning and the light closest to the battery charger is continuously flashing red. I'm in trouble if this doesn't work because I only have one battery.

If it's like the one I have screw the battery in then press and hold the button until the led on the battery starts flashing. The led on PCC will flash a few time (mine was 15) and then turn solid red. When it turns green charging is done.

Hi! I'm bringing this topic up again. So when you say that when you screw on the battery, the PCC will flash red a few ties, and then turn solid red while it's charging, and then it will turn green once it's charged. I think I answered my own question, after writing this, but I screwed my battery in, there was not red. I pressed the button, and it flashed green for a few times, and then it went red for a few seconds, and it went out. Is this correct, in my understanding? I guess I will wait to see if it turns green in a couple of hours.

Only the PCC with the button shows green light, on the other PCC the red light will blink when charged. I thought you had to push the button on the new one to see if the batt is charged (green light), but idk, I don't have one of those.
