Questions about tank cracking.

Ok so I filled up my russian 91% with some juice I know to be a tank cracker. It's all I had and I thought it would at least go a day before it cracked. Well it only took 4 hours to crack the acrylic tank section. I've got a few more hours here at work with no backup(I didn't bring the metal tank section with me). My question is: Is this a chemical breakdown, or something different going on? I NEED MY VAPE!!!!! Lol. Can I still use it until I get home?

Hate to say it but it could be risky. That's actually a chemical reaction going on and sometimes can result in the tank dissolving. Don't know about you, but I'd avoid inhaling whatever might be going on in there.

Ok. Thanks for the quick reply. I was kinda thinking that was going on as well, but I was hoping for the better lol. Looks like I'm gonna have to get busy here at work to distract me. Lol.

I'm surprised it took hours. I had an evod corrode on me within minutes. I wouldn't use it if I were you.

If you're in a real pinch and have the juice handy, you might think about dissolving 1 drop under your tongue. I DON'T recommend it as a general rule, but 1 drop would get you a nic hit. It would probably be best to get that from the bottle, not the cracked tank as you never know what's in that at this point.

I don't get these cracked tanks, I vape a cinnamon peppermint pretty much exclusively and have never had it damage a tank at all, ever. Ive got a crappy little test tank that has been sitting here for 2 months with the stuff in it, still looks brand new. Maybe the cinnamon in my liquid is different than the typical?

Could be the type of plastic, PMMA is supposed to hold up to those tank cracker juices.

This was a banana ejuice. I knew it was going to do it too. I was just hoping the acrylic would hold up. It takes a sand blaster to get the stuff off my wife's nails, lol.

I thought about the one drop on the tounge idea, but this stuff is just too strong for that. Yeah. I drained the tank. Now I gotta re wick it when I get home. Guess I can chock this up the the stupidest thing I've ever done as a vaper...leaving work without a back up. Lol.

Do you know what company produced the Cinnamon flavoring in your liquid?

Well I swapped out he plastic middle section for the metal one. Drained, re wicked, and refilled. Completely different vape. It was super harsh with the plastic. Now it's velvety and super smooth. I may never go back to anything but Pyrex, glass, or full metal.

I'm too late on this but what you could have done at work was use it as a dripper. Drip drops onto the wick and hit it off the top of the chimney. I am boycotting polycarb products and urge others to do the same.

the liquid I use is sold by The Vapor Bar. They have a local B&M near me and I fell in love with Marks Hells Frozen Over. Its a hot cinnamon with a hint of peppermint to cool it off. GREAT vape, and my daily for a while now.

I have gotten use to just putting in the steel section on kayfuns.You can tell when the juice is low anyway even though I have at least 5 clear tanks. Wish the company that makes the glass tanks gets their act together, heard there was a problem with the first batch.
