Hi - first post, but have been lurking a little while.

I got the super-duper 901 kit from the thesmokelessshop on Monday, two days earlier than expected, but have been having some trouble. I'm pretty sure all the components are working, but I can't seem to get the carts right.

How often should I be adding drops of liquid to the cart? It seems like I can only take 3 or 4 good puffs before it's just air. I smoke american spirits, so I am used to a lot of drags. But when I go to add drops (from a sweet breath bottle), the filler still looks wet and will only take 1-2 drops at most. Would a different type of PV allow me to take more drags at a time?

I'm also still craving analogs and have had 2 today, although it would have been closer to 5 or 6 without the 901. Would upping the nicotine level help with this? I ordered a medium sample pack and 30ml of low TC from JC yesterday. Other suggestions on good juice appreciated.

Eyeyeyeyeyeye. I have a feeling that once I ritualize my ecig like I did with analogs, this will all get easier, but right now it's quite frustrating!

The filler in the cartridge must make contact with the metal wick of the atomizer. Make sure the filler is not pushed down too much. After a few uses, you'll notice a little dimple in the filler that surrounds the atomizer.

You can also take a paper clip, slide it to the bottom of the cartridge, and push the filler material to the side, basically making a little air tunnel to help the liquid flow.

And, finally, make sure the cartridge is pushed in all the way. On a new unit it may not go all the way in and make good contact with the wick. When I had a new 901 (quite some time ago) I realized I had to push pretty hard to get it to go all the way in.

The Prof has a point there, sometimes when you put the 901 carts on they don't go fully on w/o a good push, this wears away after awhile. Definately make sure you get good wick contact.

As to whether using higher nic will help that depends on whether you are craving nicotine, or the habit of smoking an analog.
