These are the only thing I've found that hit/draw "right". I currently run them on a LT around 4v.
I do have wicking issues that lead to a burnt taste, especially when my juice gets below 1/2 up the tube.
My first question is:
Why is the channel on the underside of the inside cap (the channel goes over the wick) so small? Is there a reason for this? I've gutted it with a knife making it much better and I get much better wicking. Doing so removes the burnt taste as long as I tip it every few hits and allows me to chain vape with them.
Even out of the box I feel these have to be kept upright 100% of the time otherwise they flood so modifying it doesn't really change anything.
Second Question:
Does the stone II and grande have similar issues from people's experience? I know it's a little early to ask about the Stone III.
Third Question:
Are there any other "tricks" to helping these wick better?
All and all I'm very happy with these cartos. The most important thing to me is the draw and these have it right. Hopefully further refinement leads to improved wicking, more "flood" proof. Less fluid in the mouth.
