Hello, im using the evod 650 battery, wondering if i switched to a 1.8 coil would it harm the battery , also would a two coil tank fit and work properly on it, lastly im currently using a 50/50 mix in my ejuice which mixture would produce more of a throaty pull along with flavor.thanks

I often used 1.8ohm clearos on Kanger Evod 650mAh, rightly or wrongly.

i.m.o. a dual coil would be less good.

An EVOD 650 mAh is a fixed voltage, not a variable voltage, correct? I'm going to answer this as if it is.

A 1.8Ω coil will work fine on a 650 mAh battery, although you might notice the charge won't last as long. "Might" because it's pretty subtle and a 650 mAh doest last that long anyway.

When you say two coil, my guess is that you mean dual coil. While it could work on your battery, you won't experience the full effect. Dual coils really suck up the amps and the juice. They aren't designed to be used with a fixed voltage battery.

1.8 ohm coil should do just fine on a 650mah evod (I use one myself ) If you want more of a throaty pull try going to a higher PG percentage. I use 70/30 and it tastes great!!

I rebuild all my kanger heads to 1.8 ohm. (When I used them, now I do it for friends) its a happy medium for a stick battery I think. I got the best results vapor/flavor wise from them that way.

to ecf jerseyman32. So glad you are here. Make yourself at home. That is what I used when I was using the evods. It will be just fine. I prefer a cooler vape so 1.8Ω was great for me but if you go much lower, I find the vape to warm. Good luck to you and have fun.

I use 50/50 pg/vg in my mixing because I feel like it gives me the best of both options. Higher nic is what really adds stronger throat hit. For me, if I want a stronger throat hit on a juice I add a drop or two of Everclear or peach and vanilla flavored Vodka. I like to try new things and they have been working for me for over a year. There are lots of tricks you can learn in DIY thread here on ecf.
