1. Is a cheapy ultrasonic jewelry cleaner worth the money?

2. I used to roll my own cigarettes, if I was sick I would usually roll a 50/50 blend a tobacco and mullein together. I have seen people recommend to cut juices with VG if they are too harsh... my question is... lets say I catch a chest cold. What is your opinion about using a mullein leaf extract to add to one of your juices for medicinal purposes? Check out the link I've provided. All it contains is mullein extract, VG and water. Please explain your answer beyond just a yes/no. I'm genuinely curious.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that the mullein is VG based, besides the mullein extract and glycerin is just water.

3. Does anyone else get CRAZY vivid dreams when vaping before bed?

4. The whole ohm thing is still confusing me a bit. I have a ohm/volts/watts chart that I've got bookmarked and is kind of cool... I'm currently using 2.5ohm coils, I get that less ohm = more heat/more resistance. So that means that a 2.5ohm coil is a thinner wire than a 1.8ohm coil? Or perhaps a 2.5ohm coil has less wraps around than a 1.8ohm?

5. Tips for testing ohm using a multimeter? Particularly on a MPT2 coil

1. Maybe. I have an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner and I use it for all sorts of things. Cleaning heads, steeping liquids, washing out glass bottles. Used to to thoroughly clean my rebuildable tank when I realized it was giving a nasty taste because of machine oil from manufacturing. I also use it to clean various other things around the house (asthma inhaler, contact case, oh... And jewelry).

2. I really don't know, but I guess I'd suppose that vaping an extract of it would be less dangerous than smoking the leaves (since the leaves are combusted and produce tars and stuff similar to what's produced by burning tobacco).

3. I did in the beginning, but not really anymore. Wellbutrin gave me insane crazy dreams when I used it a long time ago to try to quit smoking. Like, screaming sweating nightmares.

4. Right. For example, if I had made a 2.5 ohm coil and I wanted lower resistance, I'd either use less wraps or a thicker gauge of kanthal. Another thing that will affect the resistance is the diameter of the coil. A coil with same wire, same # wraps, but larger diameter will have a higher resistance. If you are talking about your protank coils, you can pop the chimney off and remove the flavor wicks to see how many coils you have. The 2.5 coils (iirc) have 6 wraps. I think it's either 32 or 34 gauge. When I remake a protank coil with 6 wraps of 32 gauge kanthal I get 2.0 ohms pretty consistently.

5. Buy a battery with a built in ohm meter, or one of those special ohm meters that allow you to screw the base on with a 510 connection. Cartomizer and Atomizer Ohm Meter. You can test them with a regular ohm meter, but it's fiddly. Have to hold the head still and stick the little needles on the positive and the negative. Hold it real still so the needles don't slip off. It can be done though.

Here is a chart that tells info on varying sizes of kanthal wire including Ohms per foot...It is helpful. kanthal gauge.jpg

I don't think that is a ultra sonic cleaner. I think its a part of one...not sure.. I have a small crockpot that I use. I only use glass bottles and I just sit them in there for about 30 minutes and give them a good shaking in the middle of it. Seems to work ok for me. But I don't know if it would work good for plastic bottles.

A couple weeks ago I caught a nasty chest cold. I normally DIY 100% VG liquid. Went to the the local shop and bought some high PG menthol mint flavor. Guess what? I kicked that cold faster than everyone else I know who had it. While of course, I can't say that the PG killed it...imo the PG helped. That's just my opinion and I am not a medical professional in any shape or form. As far as the dreams....that happens with patches and gum. It's just one of those things. Maybe try dropping the nicotine levels before bedtime, and see if that helps. Or wait it out.

This is a good Ultrasonic cleaner. One of the few under $100 that offers a max 30 minute cycle, not 8 minutes. Highly recommended by users in the DIY Forum.

I personally use this and it does an excellent job Cleaning and Speed steeping e-liquids

Harshness - Can be decreased with better air flow through the device, increased VG or lower heat.

Vivid Dreams - Reduce mg/ml for evening Vaping. Be watchful of Stress Vaping. Reduce mg/ml for high consumption devices. i.e. Ithake/KayFun type tanks, as you are increasing ml usage.
I even keep a 2mg/ml just for a bit of chain vaping. No increased dreaming.:)

I'm not really complaining about the dreams... they've been pretty cool actually :)
