Hey all, quick question. I have a ProVari and have both the normal and extended end caps, so I use both 18490 1100 mAh and 18650 1600 mAh batteries. I've been fooling around with some different atomizers, including a few 801s for the first time. Because the normal 801 atties are so big, I've been using the 18490s for now since I didn't want all the extra length between the extended end cap and the long atomizer. Both of my 18650s were charged fully a few days ago but haven't been used since then. Will they hold their charge or do they drain even when not in use? Thanks!

They will have very minimal loss in voltage over time when stored. If you're storing them for extended periods of time just charge them once a month. A few days or ever longer isn't going to hurt anything but I would do a periodic charge say every month or so if you're going to store them longer than that.

If you're not going to use a battery for a while, it is best to first discharge it to 50%. Then store it in a cool, dry, dark place.

A fully charged battery will self-discharge a higher % than one that is half charged. Also, the higher the temperature the larger the self-discharge %.

Here is a good PDF on Li-ion battery maintenance.
