Quick batt question.

So i just ordered a chuck.... What type of battery does it use? 18650, or 18350? Ive been browsing the forum and i get diff answers....sooo i figured id ask the chuckle-heads....also where do i get them with a charger and how many is the recommended amount to have on hand??

18650 for the big chuck 18350 for the little chuck. Those batteries will work just fine. I would recommend buying at least 2 so you can have one charging while the other is in use.

Go to the battery thread. I listed all the ones I ordered. Was told the 2600 do not work, get the 2200.

I believe he was referring to a particular brand (AW) of the 18650. I'm using Tenergys at 2600 mAh and they work fine in both my Chucks. So will the 3000 mAh.

Isn't it suppose to have the little bump on the end? The ones the OP listed are flat on both ends, I thought that was a No no.

Beats me. These are the ones I'm using and they work fine.

Jeff uses a screw as the positive contact, I don't see why a flat top would make a difference as long as it makes contact. I could be wrong.... it has happened before.
