Hi. Picked up vaping a couple of months ago almost by accident, immediately quit analogs without a look back. Now in the process of picking up supplies for my first foray into DIY juice and really excited about it. I can't tell you how informative I've found lurking this forum, especially the nic strength alert and testing thread. Glad this place exists so I can learn.

Thanks everyone.

Welcome! DIY is fun-soon you'll be sharing recipes on the DIY board!

Maybe at some point, but I'm fairly methodical so it may take a while to get there (I used to work in a lab). I think as soon as I get my shipment I'm going to just make flavor solutions to taste by themselves as references. I don't want to try a 9-component recipe when I don't know what any of the components taste like by themselves.

DIY seems to be a major patience game.

Cute puppy!

DIY is a major patience game. Also, can be fun!

You could start out slow and buy premixed flavorings. Some suppliers sell their flavorings already mixed. Then you add your nic, PG and VG.

Welcome! I just started DIY'ing last week. I probably went overboard and got about 40 different flavors  Had saved many of my bottles of purchased juice, so I shouldn't need those lol. I'm keeping thing simple for now - one or two complimentary flavors, although I tried a clone of Five Pawns Castle Long. Didn't have the right bourbon or one of the vanillas. It's quite tolerable, but I'll have to play with my ratios the next time around.

Have fun :)
