That really depends on what part of the answer you are looking for. Most people who were light smokers go through 1-2ml's a day which I personally would equate to about 1/2 - 1 pack of cigarettes. Heavy smokers probably vape between 3-6mls a day and I would guess thats around 1 1/2 - 2 packs a day.

The problem is that a simple change in device, heating element, and juice base can totally change those numbers. If you are looking for the amount of nicotine in a pack vs 30ml of 24mg juice, there is plenty of articles in the library and elsewhere that explain it better than I could.

Makes sense regarding to the device used.... now for the 87273094723740328 time.. how many drops = 1ml/mg?

sorry for my lame sense of humor :(

long day at work

This is a great resource http://http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ecf-library/261114-tobacco-cigarette-vs-e-cigarette-nicotine-equivalency.html

I would say that approx 20-30 drops is 1ml of juice, and the designated strength of the juice in this case is 24mg which is per ml. The actual delivered amount of nicotine from that 1 ml of juice is NOT going to be 24mg and thats the part where reading the library and other resources will be helpful.

I used to smoke 1.5 packs a day. Now I make through a whole month on 30 ml of 36 mg juice. So, I'd get the same same nicotine at 24 mg by smoking 30ml in about 20 days. And 20 days = 30 packs before.

So, in my case, it works out to 30 ml of 24 mg/ml juice= 30 packs of cigarettes.

Or, 24mg of nicotine in juice = 1 pack of cigarettes.

Light cigarettes, by the way, since that's what I used to smoke.

Hard to believe, but that's the way it works out.

you are asking questions that has no universal equation. There is no conversion. Most standard cartomizers hold about one ml of juice. It takes about 20 drops to fill them. A drop is not a consistent unit of measurement. Neither is a puff. Most who smoked about a pack a day vape two standard size carts. It may be possible to conclude that 2mls is equal to a pack. But it will be refuted by anyone who has a different experience. There is juice wasted and unconsumed in a cart just like most never smoked down to the ..... You can ask again. There can be no answer other than personal experiences in vaping vs smoking.

I gave up trying to figure that out.

I do firmly believe that we are getting less nicotine than might be expected from the random tests that have been done, so it is an impossible task.

I believe that as well. I know, for me, I smoked a pack to a pack 1/2 a day & there was a point where I just couldn't handle any more. My first week vaping, I vaped like a freight train from the time I woke up to the time I went to sleep. I wanted to make sure I crushed the starting cravings, which worked. Anyway, I know I was no where near my maxed out nic tolerance & I vape 24mg.

But it was/is enough to compensate my cravings.

Forget the math. Vape until you don't feel like vaping.

Lol. I agree there too. I'd also add to that, to vape until you don't feel like smoking. It's rare for me to not feel like vaping.

I try and vape around the same times I used to smoke. E.g. that first cig in the morning. Later another after breakfast, etc...

I usually take 10-15 puffs each time I vape. It seems most on here vape throughout the day. I am just pointing out the fact that I am satisfied for an hour or so off of 10-15 puffs of vapor (24mg) dropping down to 16mg, so pretty sure my puffs will go up for a while.

There is so much "loss" in working with cartos & refills, and bad cartos, and....I don't think measuring it through how many cigs are in a 30ml bottle can be certain. Puffs make more sense to me....then that begs the question....how many puffs in a 30ml bottle, and we are right back to the beginning! lol

By the way....I really hate calling it a "puff" - sounds so whimpy!

Yes words like Condom and Drip Tips make E-cigs sound very phallic, but it does not question your manlyness in any sort of way.
