Your variable are going to be more accurate if you start with a 100% PG or VG base. Which base you needed will depend on what your final variables will be, as stated by cskent above.

Also as far as mixing is concerned, everyone on here talks about using graduated cylinders, but your flavorings will get thrown off using them and you are better off using pipettes with a pump and a syringe. You can then add your mixes straight into the bottle without loosing anything along the way. If you want to start off using the (drops) method, I recommend using the same type of dropper for all of your flavorings. The cheap plastic pipettes, for example, those that ship out with all orders from The Flavor Apprentice, vary from pipette to pipette in size and do no produce accurate results. I am very big on consistency and after lots of trial and error find this to be very important.

OK so if im looking to mix 65%pg and 35%VG I should get the nic that is based in PG?

And if I want a 100%vg juice im stuck with getting nic that is VG based?

Also, lets say i want to make a 70vg/30pg but have nic fluid mixed in pg, can that happen?

All the calculators im seeing dont have any fields asking to specify what your nic liquid is mixed in.... are all nic liquids mixed in pg or vg?

If you want to mix at 65PG/35VG then you should start with 100%PG Nic Base..

If you order NON-PG flavorings, theoretically you can get a 70VG/30PG ratio using 100% VG Nic Base and end with NIC at about 24MG (2.4%)

I suppose I should understand ya there, but I'm lost!!

So if i want 70pg/30vg use PG nic juice for sure?

Seems like the only reason to buy the VG nic juice would be to have 100%VG juice?

Basically you must ask yourself if you prefer more PG or VG and then order a 100% base that is of the type you prefer.

As an example, I prefer vapors with 70% - 80% PG and so I always start with a 100%PG base...
