I play airsoft and deal with a lot of batteries and as long as the voltage is the same the mah don't matter. I believe their both the same voltage from my research (I'm looking on getting an eGo or eLike). Higher mah means longer to charge due to higher "milliamp per hour" capacity.

Just wish I could find plans for a MONSTER mod using one of my 8.4 5000mah batteries.... I can imagine a concert fog machine level draw.... Woot Woot!

Laughing here!

My concern and i should have expressed it in my post was that I've read a few ads for VGOs and rebranded VGOs that say you can only use their chargers.

Thanks for your reply.

No reason it shouldn't fit, same threading. I was just taken aback by different vendors saying it needs a VGO (Lux, etc) charger.

That's because the vendors want to make more money so they try to convince people that their products will only work with what they sell. A lot of vendors will also say that using their product with any product that isn't theirs negates the warranty so legally they don't have to replace anything.

Thanks for your reply. :)

That's what the supplier whom I just purchased the battery from said when I emailed him a little while ago. I think I can safely take a chance. I am using the 2 rapid chargers for 2 Rivas and a 900mah Ego.

Thanks again!
BTW...I love your avatar. :)

I have a 510 Vgo from Breezesmokes. It's the one with the "swirls" and I think it's made by JLB. It cannot be charged with an ego/riva/et. al. charger cause there's a small post on the charger that makes contact with the battery. I haven't tried to charge an ego battery on it, so don't know if it would work or not.

That's the answer then. The VGO is coming from Breezesmokes. I will have to find a charger for it. I think there is another supplier (FirstVapor?) on ECF carries it as Breezesmokes doesn't have one available.

I would recommend you NOT use another charger for the vGo. I had a customer (she posted a thread here somewhere-I'll try to find it) state that doing so ruined her battery. I have not confirmed this to be the case personally, so take it for what it is worth.

Found the post from a well known and respected ECF member. The details were in the email she sent me, but her statement is here:

Here's the thread I think you're referring to. Just found it by accident looking at some old threads.

**Oh, I see you found it already, my bad. Same person, different thread.
