Quick question concerning the roughstack and flavor

I recently got my Maxi-Roughstack, and I am currently using a 18650 3000mah 3.7v battery. What I have noticed is that the flavor of my cartos is very diminished. I get plenty of vapor, just no taste. If I put the same carto on my 510, I get the flavor back. Is this normal, and how can I fix it?
It is because a 510 battery produces 3.2 volts while a fully charged 18650 will hit about 4.2 volts. What is actually happening is that you are using a higher voltage which tends to produce more vapor but can sometimes diminish a flavor. Use that monster of a battery for a day and see if it doesn't seem a bit more comparable the next day. After you have used up some of that extra voltage it should even out more to your liking.
Hope that helps.

nothing is wrong with the battery. All of the 3.7 li-ons charge to that, but most drop the extra voltage quickly. An 18650 has so much capacity it takes it much longer to drop it than say a 14500. Perhaps a goo d solution would be to look into higher resistance attys.

Well said. "No brag, Mam; just fact." (Not sure, maybe John Wayne.)

My really big 3.7 batteres seem to run much attys"hotter" than my 3.7v smaller batteres. The "big guys" start off hgher voltage and stay higher, for a longer time, than my smaller 3.7 volt batteres. Also, some batteries, under load, quickly reduce to a lower voltage.
