Quick question/help.

I have some empty npro cartos. I was wanting to refill them. And not throw them away it seems like a waste if I can reuse em. How do you take the cap off to be able to put the juice in? Or do I have to use a needle on these? Thank you Chuck.

You can take the cap off the mouth end, slant it, and rotate while you drop down the side. Replace the cap and blow out from the battery end in case there is any excess juice.

It seems like the cap is glued onto it. How do you remove it without destroying it?

Use a hooked piece of wire, the side of a wide paper clip is great, and slowly rotate the cat while applying a constant pulling force. If the tip glued in, soaking in some hot water should help.

I have found the tine of a fork works pretty well to pull off those hard plastic caps. Drive tine in and pry

BTW "name" rebrands sometimes use hard cap or glue cap cartos to make it harder for buyers to refill them.

If it's an Npro "DUO" then I think it is probably an RN4081 so maybe you can look for some RN4081 normal (not LR low resistance) cartos with soft caps which will be easier to refill.

Just got em apart. Whew those bad boys are in there. I soaked em in hot water and used the spring off a chip clip(thats all I had layon around ha). Thank you for the info!

Couldn't you use the condom method to refill it? No taking apart necessary.

You know the rubbery like end caps on the cartos? Take the long one, that's on the mouthpiece, fill it almost full with juice, and insert the mouth end into the cap. Do it slowly so the juice isn't forced out the battery end. When you actually see a drop of juice appear at the battery hole, it's full. Wipe it off and blow through the mouthpiece to get any excess juice out. If you want some better tasting cartos, get some at unrealcigarettes.
