Click the fire button 3 times to switch between watts and volts. I prefer watts. Use the arrow buttons to lower the watts to 8. Take a hit or two, then bump it up 1 or 2 watts and repeat. If it gets too warm, tastes funny or starts to taste burnt back the power down.

Be certain and prime the coils before use, couple drops down chimney, fill tank, few UNPOWERED draws, let sit for a few minutes.

When you've found your "sweet spot" use a thumb and hold down BOTH arrow keys at the same time. If the power moves, re set it to the sweet spot and try again. Holding BOTH arrows down at the same time for 3 seconds toggles the "lock" "unlock" keeping from accidental movement/change of the power setting.

Hurray it finally came! My new istick 30 w/ nauti tank. Now... What should I have it set at to start out for watts or volts? I know how to change it but dont know where it should be. Thanks!

as a general rule of thumb, you can often just start at 3.7 volts, because that is lithium battery nominal voltage, so prefab coils are often designed to work at around that voltage.

Hi Yes, I am up and running. Im at 13 watts and I think thats where I like it. There is a gurgling , liquidy sound to the nautilus tank. Is that normal? or is something loose?
It can be. It can also be a little bit flooded, which might mean a not-too-great wick in the installed coil-- you do get a bad one every now and again-- or maybe a bit low on power. What coil do you have in the Nauti? 13 watts is in the sweet spot for that tank. Very few people run it higher than 15-17, or lower than 10-12. You might try going up a watt or two, see if the gurgling gets less.

Its actually doing great right now. It might have been a little flooded from using lower watts as I worked my way up? Its a pretty awesome set up for sure and much smaller than the kbox I had. I have small hands so it a better fit. I have the adapter that came with the istick and the ring that came with the tank both on it so I wont mess up the threads.
The tank came with a 1.6 coil installed and a 1.8 in box. I bought 1.8's as extras.

So far this is a home run for sure! Thanks for pointing me in the right direction everyone!

Sorry if the question was already answered or I'm repeating but basically your watts and volts determine eachother. So if your in wattage mode ohms law will calculate your volts and vice versa. The best wattage or voltage depends on your coil really. I'd go with volts because your coil will determine your watts once you pick the volts. I personally like to vape at 4.2v on an ego style but if I'm subohming I use watts. On a .5 ohm coil I do 29w which seems to be my sweet spot which is reading 3.8v. But my battery also isn't fully charged which can effect the volts. So yeah I'd say it depends on your coil and try maybe 3.7 to start and go to 4. If that's not enough power up it a little. Hope this helps.
