I have a good amount of 2mm, small amount of 1.5mm and some 1mm.

The general concensus it seems is that 3mm is the best to rebuild these kangers. No biggie I can order some from surevapes with free shipping. Just wondering if I could just use the 2mm along with a 1mm side to side or just double up some 1.5?

If the vape quality will be better with the 3 I'll wait for my surevapes order.

Kanthal? SS Mesh? Silica? If its silica take 1 strand of 1mm fold it 3 ways then wrap 2 strands with 32 kanthal 4 to 5 times, then drape the last strand on top of the coils before you cap it. Don't dry burn, don't go above 9 watts at any time. Last, prime it well before you check ohms or fire it for the first time.

Yes it's silica and nd 32 kanthal. So 1 1mm stand is good for the flavor wick?

I've rebuilt a couple of eVod heads with 32g Kanthal and 3mm silica. The odd thing is I get 2 ohm reading on the Provari or Vamo with eGo adaptor but if I put them on an eGo battery they blink and won't fire. It almost got to be small tail of wire from center leg touching but I can't get it to work. I've even tucked the wire beneath the center pin and still no luck.

Is it ok to dry burn for cleaning purposes later on just like on the vivi nova?

Can and should. You can, but you shouldn't. Its better for the wick to rinse it out and pat dry.

If its the leg sticking out it would cause that. Better with the EVOD to twist the wire off so you can get a flush break from the post. EVOD is much harder than the vivi novas cause you are working in a small place. The coils have to be in the center of the wick, and the leads right up next to the ends. The positive lead needs to be bent in as not to touch the outside causing a short, and very easy to cross the leads as they come out of the base.
