Do you have Thrush? I get it after taking antibiotics or steroids. I get that feeling like something is stuck in my throat. I make a drink out of 2 tbsp organic apple cider vinegar (the kind that looks cloudy), 1 tsp honey, 1 tsp lemon juice, 1/2 glass of water. Take a mouthful swish it all around your mouth really good like mouthwash, & swallow it. You might put your head back & let it trickle down your throat, see if you can tell if it's getting around that goop in your throat. Do that until it's gone. 2-3 times a day. If you have spots in your mouth & it irritates them, just do the same thing, but use a full 8 oz glass of water to dilute it more. This is what my Dr has me do. I've had at least 3 Dr's tell me to use this as recently as las June, after I had surgery & sure enough the usual Thrush showed up. ACV is a natural fungicide, & helps with balancing bacteria in the digestive system, which starts in your mouth. I started doing it many years ago, & continued because it made me feel better in general once it stopped the GI issues.

Here's a link, if it doesn't work just copy & paste to your browser. Even if it's not Thrush, this won't hurt you.

Yeah but as much as when I finished my round of antibiotics 2 months ago. I've been actu ally drinking iy for a month now almost 3 times a day 30 minutes before meals. But it my throat didn't get better I stopped for now because I read that it is not good to take it while dealing with gerd if this is what I have. But again nothing natural I tried makes it go away it's like a long las ting none painful infection idk why it look like this. She said my voice box is inflammed

If you use the acv make sure it is the type with the mother. Bragg is a good brand. I use 1 tsp in spicy v8 juice 2X a day. Regular vinegar does not have the same benefits.

v8 or any other acidic juice is going to worsen his symptoms

he's got refulx or gerd..or something see there's been no diagnostic testing to actually confirm diagnosis on any of this stuff..I'd insist on "why is it inflamed?"(gerd /reflux could be causing it) ask for cultures..and you need a GI endoscopy to rule out anything else seriously..

This is the idea I was trying to pass on to OP. I had thought I had my acid reflux under control but then my voice box became so inflamed and scaled (burnt) that I had to have surgery to remove part. It took about a month to heal with no voice at all but no more problems after that. Acid reflux can do some very serious damage and I think so many take it too lightly. I know I did. If I were OP I would seek out a different ENT. One that specializes in Throat issues in relation to acid reflux/gerd. That is still my 2cents.

THIS.

Been there, done that. Brother has it so bad it manifests as chronic coughing. GERD affects everyone differently.

after 15 years on Nexium, I never got full relief until I worked w/a nutritionist and allergist......found food sensitivities and allergies (to weird things you would never even think of). Stopped eating all that stuff.........and reflux is CURED.

Completely cured. :) I do miss some of the food, but not really.

I've never suffered that GERD thing (and hope I never do, IBS is bad enough!) but I can't eat food with much cholesterol in it, or it makes me terribly ill for about 3 days -- so no more eggs, or those awesome burgers from DQ, and I miss both of those a lot -- but not enough to want to endure the 3 days of pain and nausea that would accompany them. I suppose it's because of my gallstones, can't process/digest cholesterol, and too much of any kind of fat can be problematic. I wonder if I'd be able to eat those foods again, if I got this stupid gallbladder removed.

the choking feeling is almost completely gone now not as bad as it used to! Still don't vape. Drink coffee on the weekends now and Ummm feel good and all bumps are still there. I bought a weshe pillow and cleaned my room of dust and bought an ionizer! Let's see in a week back on the zantac too should I consider adding the acv back in?

I had horrible throat irritation and the worst sore throat ever for about 3-4 months after I fully quit smoking cigarettes.

The cilia in your bronchial tree start to work again properly and attempt to push out years of tar, chemicals and dead tissue out of your lungs and airway. I hit a point where I coughed up some truly disgusting stuff. I vaped the entire time blu cig-a-likes and it didn't go away even when I stopped.

Now the upper respiratory infections I would get every year as a smoker are gone... I still get the flu, but the horrible sore throat and hacking cough part never happens anymore.

I am not a doctor. I work offshore as a paramedic, my health, and the health of all the folks I got into vaping has improved. Lower blood pressure, higher energy level, better appetite and less respiratory illness.

I never was clear about those bumps you mentioned. Are they actually ON your throat, or are they on the back of your tongue? Because if they're just on the back of the tongue, I'm pretty sure they're perfectly normal; I have them, and have never had GERD in my life, I rarely even get indigestion.
