Young (soon to be ex) smoker here. I originally had a Blu-Cig because I had NO clue what I was doing or wanted to buy, which was garbage and it broke on me after about a week or two of using it. Blu wouldn't help me at all, so I got annoyed and started smoking again. Now I really want to quit. I haven't even been smoking for two years and I'm already up to a pack a day, mainly due to 3 cigarettes during my ~30 mile drive to and from work.

I recently did some more research, and decided to go with a V2 cig, which so far, is a good choice. I have about 8 cigarettes left and this is my last pack

Welcome, and good luck with the V2.
When you decide that you're spending too much cash on refills and too much time recharging batteries.....
When you find out that "lifetime warranty" is a marketing gimmick to extort you into buying overpriced V2 supplies.....
When you decide that you need to upgrade to a PV that'll provide you a better experience for less $$....
When you decide that you really don't need to look like your smoking, because you're not......
Check out the vendor section. There are a lot of PVs that will make you wonder what you were thinking....

But congrats on starting. That's the main thing. Sorry about your wallet though....
Most of us went through something similar in the beginning.

Welcome to ECF !!.

You CAN get off the nasty cigs.. No question about that :)

You just need to get yourself set-up with the right PV and right juice.

I personally liked my choice of the KgO PV , I am unfamiliar with the V2 cig.. But adequate vapor ,flavor and throat hit are essential to giving you that satisfied feeling that you felt with a regular ( analog) cigarette.

Once you find what will satisfy you.. You won't look back.. There will be no reason to.

The good folks here on the forum can provide you with advice, support and lots of "posts" to read-up on , as you start on your PV journey.

Good luck neighbor , and don't hestitate to ask questions or for advice. No question is a stupid one , if it ultimately helps you quit the stink sticks.

Peace and God Bless.

Welcome, o0StatiK !

Glad to hear you have restarted your journey!

The best advice I can give you is to do your research before buying. If you haven't already, read this:

...and this...

...That will give you great basic knowledge! (I second Vin on the Kgo- great PV!)
Good luck, my friend!:2cool:

I was where you are not long ago. I used HD Smoke and their cartomizers or Metro cartomizers. The batteries sometimes would not last as long as the other took to charge. You have a PCC so that probably is not a factor for you. It certainly was for me. I hated having to wait for the "green light" from my charger! The cartomizers must have been half dried out when I bought them because I never knew how long they would last. My rationing system was 5 puffs every half hour or 10 if I waited an hour. Still they would not usually last a whole day.

When I was researching V2 reviews I noticed an eGo mentioned. When I googled it I was led here to ECF. With ECF I found out about Canvape and when I found the 1100 mah eGo passthrough I thought they had invented it for me! For twenty bucks this gadget had a battery that would last all day and when it was recharging I could still use it to vape! No more waiting for the "greenlight". With the passthrough, "red light means Go". I love it and use it with a Star Dust or a clearomizer. The clearomizer was a bit tough to learn to fill at first (like the first cigarette I ever rolled) but it was not hard to master. The Star Dust couldn't be easier. Screw top, drip to fill right from the bottle of juice and the top screws on so it doesn't leak.
That was my answer. YMMV
The cartomizers I saved from before can be filled. I use a wood screw to turn in a turn or so and pop the mouth end off and then add 10 drops, wait 10 minutes and add another 10. I usually let them sit for a day so that the liquid can soak in and they are about the same as before. Good for when I don't want a big battery in my pocket.
Don't worry, there are lots of nice alternatives. I just went for simplicity. And the difference in vapor with the big battery convinced me I didn't need a cig. I always felt lacking with the small one. Like you wrote, I wanted to draw on it all the time. I just wasn't getting enough.

Keep your wick wet.
