"If you hold the button on an e-cigarette for 100 seconds, you could potentially produce 100 times more formaldehyde than you would ever get from a cigarette," Conley says. "But no human vaper would ever vape at that condition, because within one second their lungs would be incredibly uncomfortable."

He then goes on to state that the lungs would be uncomfortable because the vapor would be so hot. Classify that as a General Concept Error? Vapor is cool in temperature.

Yeah I wouldn't try holding a battery powered on for that long...something is guaranteed to fail.

I understand (I think) why they did it that way. For studies with smokes, they lit it, and burnt the entire thing to be analyzed. Figure out tar, nic, etc etc per smoke. It's just not the same with e-cigs at all.

Classified as a General Concept Error. Trying to use old methods to quantify toxins in a new product.

Can you even imagine a 1 minute long hit? Great googlymoogly that'd hurt.
