I'm cutting down on smoking, but haven't quit completely, and I'm hoping someone can Pandora the flavor that I'm after.

I've been smoking Camel Crush's for quite a few years now....but I actually don't crush them. So this makes the flavor close to Camel Blue, but not quite. I have ordered a ton of various tobacco flavors from recommendations from this forum and online, but all of them are just too strong. The constant that I keep coming back to is Space Jam's Eclipse, which is delicious and I really do love it. But it's just a tad bit too sweet for all-day vaping. Especially now that I have the BVC coils, it seems even sweeter than before. These coils are amazing but I've realized that this flavor is now almost too much of a good thing. I need something that I can vape all day.

I'm wondering, can someone recommend something similar to Eclipse, or perhaps a Tobacco flavor that I could cut it with to tone it down? It seems like everything is too strong, or too sweet, and I can't find my goldilocks zone of that perfect mix. I've noted from similar threads that there may not be a perfect answer out there, as nothing does really replicate a cig, but I thought I would at least give a try.

I'd truly appreciate any feedback you guys can provide, as I feel like I'm so close to quitting...and there is a vap flavor out there that can seal the deal. Thanks to this forum, I have an incredible setup now with a couple different tanks (New Aspire Mini being the primary), far too many drip tips, and some great batteries. But I have still yet to find that ideal daily flavor.

Perhaps just diluting it with vg or pg would mellow it enough?

Hmm, that's an interesting thought. I've never tasted PG/VG by itself, is it a neutral flavor, or does it taste like nothing, and would it just stretch it like adding water to frozen concentrate?

You might try burley beard from velvet cloud vapor. I am an ex camel smoker and I can tell you, you will never find the exact thing. If you do, please tell me:)

Thanks, I'll give it a try. And ya know it's funny, before I got serious about vaping, I got this juice called Kamel at a crappy little smoke shop near me. All they had were cig flavored brands in liquid form. Of course since then, I've realized how different the quality is with a real ejuice. It tasted chemical and cheap of course....but actually, it's still the closest I've found to a camel cig, oddly enough. There just has to be a high end version out there.

Anyway, will do, or if nothing else, I'll mail you a bottle of theirs :)

I've never had Space Jam's juice, but I have had several tobaccos and I was a Camel Filters smoker. The one "brand" of juice that did it for me, even though it tasted nothing like a Camel or a cigarette even, was Indigo Vapor synthetic tobaccos (not their NETs, which are new). I think the first two I tried were Oorah! which was too heavy and sweet for me at the time, and The Turk. The Turk was what made me an Indigo Fan. One NET which I've really liked from them is Gung Ho, which has a really nice, not too sweet, almost citrus-y tobacco. You might give Indigo a try with one of their tobacco samplers. I will say that the base for their tobaccos is all the same - and has a distinct, almost pruney flavor to it. It is unusual, but gives the juice a full body that I haven't encountered in any other juice.

Alisa - Much thanks for the detailed suggestions, I'll give those a try. I've seen Indigo come up in other threads...looks like the answer could be there.

SchmidtyKy- You've mixed that with Eclipse? Okay, order this right-now. Much thanks.

Testy - Good to know about the Turkish tobacco, that should give me some leads.

I've just found that I really like Hangsen's cigar flavor. It's kinda sorta similar to Eclipse, but not as sweet. I'd describe it as fruity and spicy, but in a more natural dry tobacco kind of way.

The only caveat is that I just got it yesterday, so I don't know if or how it will change in the next couple of weeks. As it is now I was thinking that it would make for a good all-day vape, though (for me).

Just a thought from my experience.

Try other flavors that you like (non tobacco). When I first started I want camel filters all day, but could never find a good match. It was frustrating. Finally I went to a b&m and they got me some other flavors I liked... Rootbeer, amaretto, mentholated strawberry, and some good cigar flavors for when I'm out drinking.

The goal is usually to replace smoking, but the flavor doesn't have to be tobacco... The candy flavors aren't for kids :)

Hope this helps.

Lasttango - thanks, I ordered a sampler from Apocalypse last night so I'm going to give that a shot and a couple other flavors, I'll let you know.

ABx009 - I'll put Hangsen's on my list of next to try, thanks. It sounds up my alley.

Hectic- It does help, thanks...yeah, that's the theme I keep hearing, and I'm taking it to heart, since you guys are hopefully just me in the future. I just feel like the flavor choices are limited to just: Fruit, Dessert, and Tobacco. I feel like Fruit and Dessert are good for awhile, but not an ADV, and Tobacco apparently just isn't what I thought it was. But I'm going to keep trying. I should probably do another few rounds of B&M to find what I'm after- good call.

Another thought is you could try something like craft vapory, a monthly subscription service that supposedly has good people to help you find good juice based on your preferred flavors. You kinda need to know what you like first though... It's premium eliquid which is usually 20+ for a 30ml,but it's a thought. I think I'll sign up next month... Already way over Vape budget for this month =S

Hi Dry Sprocket...

not sure if this is a double post, my internet connection keeps cutting off... meh.

Since you are from Los Angeles, there are a TON of great vape shops that let you try ALL the flavors and help you find the right flavor for you. I just moved to Seattle from Los Angeles, and I really miss Helios' Meteor Flavor (helios ejuice is made in cali I believe)... it's a nice mellow RY4, no sweeteners, made from local ingredients, etc. etc.

good luck, and vape on!

Thanks man, and so true, I've been hitting up the B&M places a lot more to try some new ones. Helios Tribeca is pretty damn tasty, so I'll be sure to give Meteor a try.

And Hectic- I looked into that monthly subscription service...sounds dangerous, hah. I'm not sure I'm quite there yet, but I just may give it a go in the future, thanks!
