No clue, royalmail has a really Sucky way of keeping track of their packages, seems like the minute it leaves the country you have no way of finding out where your package is untill it reaches your destination, after all i did pay 10 pounds for the delivery.. the current status:

"Your item, posted on 01/09/09 with reference xxxxxxxxxxxxx has been passed to the overseas postal service for delivery in FINLAND."

and it's been like that for the past 2 days, why does this interest you? Is there something i should have heard about? :D

You might want to check out a joye 306. I've found it to be more cigarette like than a lot I've tried, it's an automatic battery so it more closely mimics the real thing.

I've also heard good things about the m401, but haven't had the chance to try one.

allready ordered a joye510, and its on its way.. :p i started thinking and its probably better if it does not mimic the real thing too much.. :)

I bought my first e-cig "smoking everywhere" in a Mall precisely 2 month ago. I am travelling all over the country and in a different city everyday. From that moment on I have not touched an analog cigarette. The following day I purchased a "pen style" and 15ml juice in another city. Both of the cigs were overpriced but I have absolutely no regrets and would spend alot of money to find the alternative to messing up my lungs. And if it hadn't been for the Mall e-cigs I wouldn't have found out about them.
Prior to the purchase of the e-cig I smoked close to 2 packs a day and I'm stoked and proud to say I do not miss analogs.
On various gas-stations I bought a few more "starter kits" on that travel, because I wanted to make sure that I would never run out of batteries or be in a situation where I would fall back on analogs.
When I got back home I found this site and has been lurking for great tips, tricks and stories. Make sure you check out videos too.
Ok to make a long story short, I came to the conclusion that I (unlike many others here) did indeed want a e-cigarette that looked and had the size of a real cigarette.
It might be stupid but there are too many situations where I feel uncomfortable puffing on a "to-people-that-dont-know" weird device in public. Plus that I'm not always in the mood to explain what it is.
Which is why I ended up with a bunch (pleeeenty of back-ups for the back-ups) super duper mini e-cigs from China, which is also where I buy my juice.
Downside about the small ones are battery life, which is why I recently purchased the Janty-stick, and yes it is better than any of the other e-cigs I have on all points. I use the Janty at home, around people I know or when driving (sometimes when I'm driving I just sit with one of the mini cigs in my mouth or hand, just to use as a "pacifier".

I started out with clean 24mg strength nicotine and is now down to mixing that with 50% Vegetable Glycerin. I have a few cigs laying around with pure glycerin with different tastes and have found myself enjoy and being satisfied by those more and more.

My ultimate plan is to completely stop the nicotine addiction and next step is to cut down the nicotine even more.

My advice is to read as my topics and threads on this forum to see where you should start according to lifestyle and temperament.

*Disclaimer*** if this post seem messy I apologize and blame it due to I wrote it on my iPhone and english is not my first language ;)***
(just realised that was my first post)

Update: still waiting for my e-cigarette, so far the e-cig has been the best thing for me when trying to quit smoking, and i haven't even got it (starting to reconsider the device) since i've been thinking all along "ill just suck it up and wait for my device" and been without a single smoke for 5 days of which 2 last days without nicotine completely thanks to that way of thinking.. :p
I hope your 510s arrive very soon Zeddy! I believe your way of thinking is great and that you'll be happy with your choice for your first e-cig.

A couple of things to be aware of when you get your 510s:

Don't expect them to taste good at first. Search for cleaning advice on this forum. They'll probably need to be blown out, or used for a while, before they taste good.

Don't expect the same quick rush as you used to get from smoking. A drag from an e-cig takes a bit longer (roughly a minute) to affect your body than a drag from a cigarette (10 to 20 seconds.) It may take a little while to get used to how to smoke it to feel right. But after that learning time it will indeed be great.

Good advice from Milster. It takes a bit of getting used to.

I got my first e-cig (a Janty Stick) yesterday at about 10am, and had a total of 3 cigs between then and bedtime. Today, I'm not even taking my cigs to work with me, and I'm seriously considering calling my wife and asking her to throw away the few cigs I have left at the house. I don't think I will need them. :D

The 510 I ordered will most likely show up in the mail today, so I have another PV to test out when I get home. Yay!

Ok, i'm a bit frustrated atm, i just found out i will be consuming around 3-5 cartridges / day, which is one hell of an amout seeing as i ordered 30 cartridges.. so wtf, this is one expensive hobby, basically means its more expensive to smoke e-cigs then it is to smoke analogs? :nah:

So i also heard its alot cheaper to make your own, how much does one empty cartridge take of that liquid you can order for 1 pound / ml ?

what if i wanted to make my own liquid, and cartridge what would i need? i have no need to make nicotine based liquids, just something that works with the atomizer, since i take it h20 doesn't work that well with the device? ;-)

any diy guides for beginners?

Zeddy,

I would look into buying some juice and refillable carts. I'm not sure what you pay for a pack of smokes, but they just went up to almost $7 a pack where I live. Using juice, I would estimate that my costs have gone down from $50-$60 a week (pre tax increase) to about $5 a week. I haven't explored making my own yet, I'll probably do that after our wonderful FDA bans it :)

There are some good threads in the mod forums in that area.

good luck!

You can make your own juice if you want to save a TON of money.
But if you just want to save a lot of money, then just buy your own juice and refill those cartridges.

And even if you didn't care about saving money, buy your juice anyway and refill those cartridges.
You can get any flavors you want, in any strengths, and mix and match however suits you.

ive had my vapor king joye 510 for a feww weeks now and i'm using malboro HIGH level nic. i use to smoke winfeild blue cigarettes wich is slightly lower than my e-cig but i find it feels almost exactly the same.
ive read all the reviews on the joye 510, and theyre all 100% correct! its awesome.

it takes a while to get use to the e-cig but i think it'll come naturally and wont crave a cigarette :)

Not that i want to be a traitor to the vaping community or anything but i have been completely nicotine free for the last 5 days, which means no e-cig or anything.. so basically i only used my e-cig for 2 days ( well spent 70 pounds... ), but still i feel that the fact that i have that wonderful device on my desk ready to be vaped whenever the nicotine need gets too big i can always grap the device and vape a bit. Its just so much easier to tease yourself and push yourself to the limits when you know that the worst thing that can happen is you vape, and do not risk going back to analogs (since as i've noticed before, smoking 1 analog usually leads to smoking 1000 more)..

That's really great to hear! This worked so easily and quickly for you! I want to be off all habits myself eventually. I quit smoking analogs and think I could probably put down the e-cig pretty easily if I wanted to. Right now, I enjoy it but I don't have that "need" for it like I did analogs.

update: yeah i hade a e-cig on saturday while i was out parting with my friends, mostly because i wanted to show them how it worked in order to get them to convert away from analogs, anyhows i smoked the e-cig untill i ran out of battery, after that i continued parting for about 3 hours without any kind of need for nicotine, which i was really surprised about, anyhows day 16 analog free and day 2 nicotine free :D
