You got a lot of travel into a short time, and some great pics.

We did get to see a lot in a short time. I took 110 pics. Was kind of surprised when I downloaded them.....LOL.You got a lot of travel into a short time, and some great pics.![]()
Tombstone, LOL! I would have come and hugged you in person, l now live about 20 minutes from there.
A word about Tombstone, it is a MOROSE town. All the locals kinda hate tourist season but at least they have more to hate, and they have to ACT happy.
When tourist season is over, the real hatred descends. For some reason they all have to hate the town like MAD. I'm glad you had a good time, seriously. We have visited so many times and the local "actors" come to Douglas to eat sometimes and they totally vent. It's spectacular.
My fist sight of the Grand canyon was like standing with my (at the time then finace, but he sucked, for me anyway, so that was kind of a last pilgrimages so to speak) anyway we only had spring break and stuff happened like car parts broke down in "no name town Texas" it snowed.
We arrived at like 2 am and slept in the car and like. I remember standing on the edge of some ledge going, "Where is it where is it" and some local/tourist/ranger I forget was like "Take a step back miss" and then the sun came up. LOL.
We had to leave at 2 pm to go back, so it was ah, rushed.

That's strange.I had to go back and look at your pics Fran. For some reason I couldn't see them when I was on my phone on tapatalk yesterday.
This is very true@FranC - I am SO glad you had a great trip out West. It is a beautiful part of the country. If you are like me, though, there is no place like home.![]()
This is very trueEven though it's still quite cold here I'm glad to be back.
When do you get to return home?
That's a very long time away from home. I hope something comes up to shorten it.It was supposed to be June of this year but the Army did my son-in-law no favors and stationed him at the Pentagon after his Fellowship ends. So, I am staying in Washington State for another year. After that, if the Army doesn't get my daughter and son-in-law stationed together, she is going to get out. Either way, I will be home in Virginia for good in June of 2020.

Well,I'm glad it's broken up so you can spend some time at home.Yes, it is but it really is the best thing for my grandchildren. S-I-L is going to stay at my house to save money so his BAH will be extra cash for them. I do get to visit home fairly often. We are all going for 3 weeks in June. Time does fly.
Still vaping the Chef's one shot. It's not sweet which is a big plus.
Yes it is.Is that the biscuits and gravy one?
Yes it is.
