Nope, none of them came with a STM-like drip tip, AFAIK. All of them I've ever bought (13 for myself and some friends) have a short, black, hard plastic DT.

Yep, changed the dt without even trying it. This is my first Toptank, had a few STMs already and was already getting into rtas. I'll order a couple OG STM dt when I order the extra rba heads.

It should interesting. I am hoping for something very refreshing. The lemonade is my Pink Fizzy Lemonade with Forest Fruit instead of Strawberry and Raspberry. I have been meaning to try that for a long time and all of the talk about Forest Fruit here reminded me.

That Pink Fizzy Lemonade sounds wonderful. I knew I should’ve ordered the Forest Fruits grrrrrr. Do you have a recipe that you’ve tried already?

I'm all for simple recipes.I know that's not always possible but I try. Working on a simple Cucumber Cooler. Also thinking of a recipe for the Forest Fruit. Maybe a simple tea to start.

I start simple. Over the years they can get complicated as I decide to try different additions. Either from other recipes or I imagine a flavor while I'm vaping

@FranC , you have a lot of experience as a vaper. So you have to of tried many different set ups. In your opinion, whats the best set up you can use for best flavor, dtl or mtl?

I don't think DTL/MTL matters on its own. DTL can wash out flavor with more air if the liquid usage isn't equally high. MTL can be anemic because it tends to produce anemic vapor so less flavor but good flavor. Go back when MTL was all we had, everything was weak, the flavor percentages in recipes trend higher to compensate.
I think it's more about the build suiting DTL/MTL.

A mesh wicked gennie delivers good true MTL flavor, and you simply rinse them out, burn them off and switch flavors, it's why I've pulled one out for tasting. But ain't nobody got time to hassle building those.

SubTank is good at MTL/DTL, but the new stuff I've got is great for flavor. It's part of the reason I'm finally moving on partially from SubTanks.
Won a Scion II, loved the mesh coil's flavor, hate VW, the Scion RTA kicks out some flavor. That made me want TC mesh, got a Themis mesh, when the wicking is right the flavor is great (until the mesh is plugged with chocolate). That top flow air got me to order a Zeus, it's on a slow boat from China so I can't comment on its flavor yet, I also have some stamped mesh on the boat to see if it stands up to chocolate better. I doubt if any of these could do MTL.
I can't comment on how the new MTL tanks do.

The Vandy Vape Berserker MTL RTA is terrific for both flavor and extremely smooth vapor, IMO. The build deck is extremely easy and it's stingy on juice consumption, too. It's become my new, all-time, favorite RTA by a long shot.

I thought from a design standpoint (small chambers) they looked like they could be flavorful.

Thinking of that I picked the wrong gennie to clean up, I'm going to have to recoil the one with the chamber plug.
I think the small/no chamber of the SubTanks is why they're still good.

My "normal" Fizzy Pink Lemonade is my favorite recipe ever!
10% Menthol 1% (optional or increase to 2% for extra-cold
Koolada 10% 1% or WS-23 .75%
Lemon Sicily (FA) 0.75%
Lemonade (LA) 6%
Pink Champagne (FW) 2%
Raspberry (Sweet) (TPA) 2%
Strawberry (Ripe) (TPA) 1%
Sweetener (your favorite, I use SugarDaddy) 0.5% or to taste

For the Forest Fruit Version, I left out the Strawberry Ripe and Raspberry Sweet and added 3% Forest Fruit.

I recently purchased a Toptank for old times sake and falling in love all over again. Unfortunately it didn't come with the STM dt but one of my nips is working out well on it. Have the stock coil in it now as I had never tried the latest coils, it's okay but not as good as the square horizontal coils and of course doesn't come close to the rba head. Probably have the rba on it within a few days and it's place in rotation will be cemented.

I never got a Toptank but still thinking of it.
