Just work related stuff on my agenda for today. How about you Fran?
Not much for plans here. Need to mix a simple lime mix but no hurry. Still have the Lemon Cheesecake.

I’m really thinking I’m blueberry blind. If I don’t mix it with bilberry I can’t taste it. I think it’s way more likely that I’m only tasting the Bilberry. In any case I’m not going to mix with it anymore which is fine cause there’s a whole bunch of fruits I can taste just fine.

HItt! You are the best! Thank you for your efforts.

I did notice that if I chain vaped it and got the atty warmer that the gingerbread came through more. I guess maybe it was written for higher watt sub ohm use. It does seem dry and could probably benefit from some meringue or marshmallow. I'll see how the current mix goes after steeping a while and then maybe try again with the meringue.

    Blueberry dream:
    bavarian cream-fw-4%
    blueberry-fw-6%
    sweet cream-fw-1%
    vanilla custard-cap-1%
    vanilla swirl-tfa-1%
Sub at will, I always use which ever brands I have on hand.
I do add a few drops of lemon, seems like it helps the blueberry.

I might be blueberry blind as well. But I really don't want to be. So I shall keep trying. Funny thing is the very first eliquid I vaped was a blueberry flavor from a local shop. I loved it. However, it's possible that I just loved the fact that it didn't taste like smoke.

Thanks for sharing it. I don't have all the flavors, but I do have some subs for what I am missing. I bookmarked it for later.

That is possible. My biggest disappointment was apple. I tried every apple flavor I could find. I had a couple folks trying to help me. They were sure I could taste the apple in the flavors and mixes they sent. Nope, all I was ever able to taste was the sweetness from the flavors. I didn’t give up graciously but I did give up.

    Morning, all.

Off topic: I did get the job I wanted. I applied at a facility that I worked at back in 99-2006. I'm hoping this one will be it. I hate to job hop but last job insurance was crazy as well as the job with no management on board. I feel confident on ordering some diy now. :)

Great news, Kool! Nah, going to a better situation isn't job hopping, it's progress!!

    Good morning everyone

Shaved ice is a popular thing down here, and in Hawaii. It's a really good money-maker business, too. Afterall...the main ingredient to make it is dirt cheap! One family in the area started their own shop on a main highway about 5 years ago and regularly have people standing 6-8 deep in line waiting to place their orders. They don't sell the various sizes cheap either! That same family has so far sold 4 franchises to other people in surrounding cities.

Shaved ice is much better than a snow cone, according to people who've tried both. It's not little crunchy ice crystals. It's much lighter and fluffier, and melts as soon as it hits your tongue. I sometimes set my machine up on my front porch and invite neighborhood kids (and their parents) to bring their big insulated cups and come over for freebies during summer. I've also taken it over to friends' houses to do shaved ice for their kids' and grandkids' BD parties. :)

This is the machine I have, but it was less expensive 4 years ago. You can make a bunch of shaved ice pretty quickly! After using it a couple times, I bought a foot operated motor controller for it. Now I can use both hands to scoop and shape the shaved ice, without having to manually stop or pause the motor.

    https://www.amazon.com/Great-Northe...rds=Shaved+Ice+Machine&qid=1603778997&sr=8-21

Doing shaved ice as a small, side business during summers, even where you are, could be a nice, easy way for anyone to get extra income. The investment wouldn't be much either for a machine and the supplies.

I know you reside in Florida, so perhaps you may know of a small town in the southern central part called Clewiston. US Hwy 27 runs directly through it and it has a lot of semi truck traffic through the area. A lady there opened up a shaved ice stand and I kid you not, truckers would be lined up 20 deep all day long for her tasty shavings. She was there as far back as when I was in my early twenties driving uniform trucks till last time I passed through in 2015.

Yes...I'm familiar with Clewiston. Been through there on Hwy 27 many times. I'll bet truckers were lined up, especially since there's never been many places to pull off and get a tasty treat in Clewiston. :D

Do you vape low watts? Tootle puff?
I vape high watts 40-60 depending on the device, coil, juice etc

Anything that comes to your mind to make it better is of interest to me Hitt. I was not aware Marshmallow would help with anything except sweetness. Correct me if I am wrong as I am not a good mixer. Just copier of others stuff.

Does anyone have any good suggestions on cleaning out plastic ejuice bottles? I have some 10ml bottles that I have rinsed out several times with hot water, yet I can still smell the old flavorings.
Let them soak in a container of soapy water.

I'm OK with the residual smell of most eliquids in a reused plastic eliquid bottle...as long as there's no taste, too. Stronger eliquids though (like my Mint Chocolate Chip) and a few others...get their own bottle that's reused just for more of them. But, if the smell bothers you...you might want to try rinsing the bottles out, or filling them and letting them sit for awhile, using a solution of water & baking soda, to see if that helps. Baking soda will remove/absorb smells in a fridge, so it might work for plastic bottles, too.
