I went through my flavors and made a list of ones that sound Christmasy. I will be finding recipes soon to use them.

Almond
Blood orange
Blueberry acai pomegranate
Brown sugar
Buttermint
Butter pecan pie
Candy cane
Champagne
Egg nog
Glamour chocolate
Grenadine
Holiday spice
Irish cream
Papaw Brett’s Christmas spice
Peanut brittle
Sesame candy
Torrone (no idea what this is)
You're missing the ham flavoring.

That's good to know. I've already waiting long enough on the cheesecake.
That's what I figure. I always mix 30ml bottles of my cheesecakes and I haven't noticed any big changes as the fruit steeps in.

    Serendipitous Saturday, stirring souls ;)

Rain's back to intermittent, i.e. stops until you go outside. At least something is still "normal" in this world!!

I think I'll watch my latest mixes steep. :)

@Uncle I think I have a pretty good idea of what it takes to start a private practice and it's extremely complicated. Actually, insurance is not really the expensive part anyway, it's all the other stuff. Believe me when I say I know what would be involved. I mean it would take about 6 months to EVEN get going. Also, I'm not even licensed in the the State of WV, I am Federal, so I kept my AZ license.

I don't want a better job I quite like this one there are a few kinks that need to be ironed out and they WILL be.

I was not aware NASW had SW specific guidelines but I will check those out. Thanks.

Torrone (said while doing the rippling rrrrrr’s) per elr notes is a chewy, sweet, white, Italian 'nougat', not the rock-hard kind, not American candy-bar nougat. It's sweet but not cloying, the flavor of almond, citrus, honey nougat. Me likey! I’ll try this one solo.

I also mixed that really simple 2 flavor Acai Pudding mix about a week ago. I'll probably want to wait for it to steep a bit longer too, but not sure if a full month is needed.

Regarding the cheesecake base, when adding the fruit flavor to the base, should I wait another week or so for everything to mix together well?

I don’t remember. What were the percentages on the Acai and pudding?

I did no decorating yesterday but I did some shopping. I’ve got my two brother’s gifts, my two sis-in-law’s, my nephew and niece, part of Mom and Dad’s but I need to get them both something else and they are difficult, Mom’s bday gift, and a handful for my son. I need to finish my son, Mom and Dad, and get my brother a bday gift. I also have to help Mom with her gifts. o_O I have a good idea for my sis-in-laws but I struggle with the men. Then I get the pleasure of doing all the wrapping for both families. I need to call her.

What do men like to receive that doesn’t pertain to vaping? *snicker*. Any ideas you could share? I’m just clueless. I bought each of my brothers a four pack of LED lanterns with batteries for when the power goes out. My Dad loved his a few years back. And after all these years of gifting we’ve run the gamut and I’m out of fresh ideas.

Some of my favorite gifts I’ve received have been gift cards for stores I like. Then I can get something I really want or need. At this age, I like things I can actually use. My BiL usually gets me coffee that I like and hickory farms gift sets. Tools are always a win in my book. Last year he got me a cordless Dewalt sawzall with two batteries, a charger, and a carry bag. I was blown away. I got him a really nice vintage Harley sweat jacket with old patches sewn on it. I’m sure it varies from person to person.

    1) If they don't have one already, a good wallet. I'm partial to LAND wallets myself. I lucked out this year because my pup chewed the corners of my 23 year old LAND wallet so my wife bought me another one for Christmas.

    2) If they shave, a nice shave kit especially if they use a razor instead of those electric razors. If they use an electric razor a good quality one of those even. If they have a beard and manicure it themselves a good beard trimmer.

    3) A quality screw gun.

    4) A dual electric/cigarette lighter type air pump for the family's vehicles. We hate having to go to gas stations to put air in the tires.

    5) Contrary to popular belief-- we actually like getting socks because we will wear the ones we have to death. It's important to get the kind we like though... example: if a guy wears ankle sports socks don't get him knee length tube socks.

I saw a new (to me) eggnog recipe. It’s in my to mix pile for next week so it’ll be ready for Christmas.

I like torrone, a lot lol, but it’s one of the love it or hate it kind of flavors. It’s pretty spot on to the irl candy

I was going to say, anything from Northern Tools. I’m guaranteed success for himself with tools. I ordered him a wireless charging pad for the truck (he’ll have to install it, but he’s handy). He loves the one that came in my car, and no more lost/broken cords for me to replace. Win/win!

Great ideas! My brothers are weird and probably have all of that and I have given wallets before. I am getting my gay nephew a 12 pack of novelty socks with stripes and polka dots and animals and fruit (I haven't made up my mind yet and that reminds me that my son and I are going to flip a coin between two sets). He has modeled and is tall and lanky and gorgeous and he loves fashion. I think he will like these. I limit my gifts to $25 + tax. He's the most difficult one of all to buy for. I also do not *really* know my family and their likes and needs. It's tough. Mom gave tools to my older brother last year. I'm going to think about the shave kits. Good idea. We've also given cologne sample kits and we are just out of ideas.

Wonderful gifts! Mom gives multiple gifts for each person acting like Santa and she always gives us all a gift card. I love my Lowe's gifts cards and she also gives Amazon GCs. My brothers and especially my Dad have everything tool-wise. So difficult! Especially trying to come up with multiple gifts. For some reason pulling together my gifts was easier this year...although I'm clueless on my son. I tend to feel sorry for my Mom so I gave her one of my gifts for my son last night. A Lego set for a beetle Volkswagon. He always gets a set from me and one from her. So I'm giving her my gifts! ARGH! We need to stop this nonsense. She is about ready. They are too old for this. I told her long ago to stop it.
