The AC guy was just here and added more freon and turned it on - it works but I don't get why it needed more freon when he just filled it. Something is wrong here but we asked him if it quits working at 4pm will he come back and he said yes. We will see.

    Something else must be wrong.

    How long did you steep?
5 days. Mixed 5mls on Monday. I figured it didn't need that much time steeping. 5mls was merely a few drops of each flavor.

There is a really nice full mouth feel from the Amarula and Milk.

The only time I even consider looking at videos is if I have a new RTA that I need some building pointers on, and even with build videos I do that so little now that I'm more experienced... but occasionally I might need some tips.

Anything else I watch what people say here on ECF after they have owned and used a product for 6 months to a year... if the remarks are still good overall, then I make my purchase..

even those here who do reviews don't use the product long enough before posting a review to be able to say very much as to the things that interest me most - which is longevity. Is the thing going to break in 3 months? have board problems in 4? can't say things like that if you've not used the thing more than a tank or two before going on to the next mod review.

Hand feel, weight etc is great to know but if there's no longevity it's bunk.

In all fairness, those of us that do reviews are expected to post the reviews in 1-2 weeks after receiving the samples. I try to run it through the paces as much as I can in that time. If there’s a poor design then it will usually show itself in that time. I try my best to give an honest opinion on every device I review. To me the electronics in these devices is no different than in any electronic device you buy. There will be some failures when any device is mass produced. To me it’s more about the company standing behind their products if there is an issue. For example, I purchased a hellvape Arez 120. It doesn’t work correctly so I emailed Hellvape. They responded and are going to replace it.

I have in the past gone back on a couple reviews and updated my experience with them if I have chosen to continue to use them after the review. There’s no way that every device a reviewer receives is going to get continued long term use. Heck, half the stuff I’ve bought doesn’t get long term use.

One other thing, almost none of the samples we receive for review have been on the market for six months. A lot of times we receive them before they are available for purchase.

It tastes like one of those fancy coffees you get at a decent cafe. I can see this going into my regular juice rotation. It has a lot of flavor for only 2.25% total flavorings.
I have some mixes under 4% flavor and they have plenty of flavor. It's certainly not hard to do with some of the super concentrated flavors that are out.

I understand all that... :) Its why I'd rather hear from regular users. Most people who aren't reviewers use a mod until either something newer they'd like to try comes out or until the mod itself dies.

I only ever use two mods, one is always a throw-n-go for when I'm out, and one for daily at home use. On rare occasion I'll have 3 going but its rare. Most people are similar. Just regular vapers using their devices long term.

Since that's how I use my mods, I find recommendations from that type of user slightly more informative. I understand major problems usually show up quickly, but it won't find every issue.

Companies reputations are important, take Innokin for instance, their reputation proceeds them and I have no problem taking a recommendation for a device that company makes more quickly, but other companies are more wishy washy, and I'd prefer to know how each device holds up with longer term use.

I found the box of plastic tubes I mentioned last night.
It was bigger than I'd remembered. It's 20" x 20" x 16" and still has about 900 tubes and 2 caps for each one in it.

    BoxOfTubes.jpg

So...I think I'm probably set for the future.

A 2.5 ProVari Mini easily fit in 1 of the tubes. I cut another one down and put an original Zenith 4mL tank in it.

ETA: Just dawned on me that I should use 1, with only a top cap on it, to place over each of my tanks, RTAs, and ProVari on my vape stands. Would keep dust, etc. off of them.
