I’m heading back north to see Mom tomorrow morning. Last visit, her range (a lovely avocado green, roughly the same age as me) started acting up, and himself couldn’t totally fix it. So, tomorrow is a six hour drive with a new one in the back of the pickup. Keep your fingers crossed we don’t hit any rain, please.
Why not buy one near where she lives and have it delivered and installed?
If that was me... I would do all the grocery shopping and take care of all the finances too. The driving. The cooking. The house cleaning. Whatever it took.
Ya know, we have a good friend from Spain over in the Shiny thread who has been taking care of his very ill Father for a very long time. He loves his father dearly and does everything for him. He does everything to help his Dad live a more comfortable, and happy, life. He never whines or complains about his Dad. And he never, ever, throws shade his Father's way. Ever. If something isn't right, he does what's needed and then some. That's Love.

Don’t go away. Everyone here is entitled to their opinion. I can definitely understand some of what JC is saying but also feel like you have a good point also that when the person becomes a danger to not only themselves but to others also then it’s time to take action. I think you both make valid points.
I'm never one to not speak what's on my mind... I do and I will. If it's not liked by a very tiny minority... too bad.
1) Can't stand alcoholics
2) Can't stand druggies
3) Have zero tolerance for Freddie Freeloader's
4) Never cared much for the ones who are always showing complete disrespect for their parents, families or loved ones
5) Don't care for the types who constantly whine and complain about the lives they themselves created. And most certainly, yes, they created their "mix".
I have a hard time grasping the tiny minority who come along and try to explain away, defend or justify any of the above behaviors.
When a majority, including a mod, voice their Life experience and disdain for another persons poor behaviors - And Life Choices - well, that Speaks for Itself.
Sometimes certain things in Life should not be 'rescued' and Nature should be allowed to run its full and natural course. That is The Way of the Natural Universe.

I will probably also buy it, but had intended to wait until the currency changes, in the last week the Norwegian krone has fallen very much.
I beta tested the dna100c chip before it was released and really liked it so it was a natural for me to order the Hyperion. As far as lost vape stuff goes, I have two of the old grus mods, one 100w grus kit with ub pro tank, three ursa kits, two thelema pod kits, and a Thelema DNA250c. I also have spare coils and pods for them.
