The Salted Caramel is good, but it needs a steep. I was disappointed with it at first until I figured out what it was. When I had salted caramel at ice cream shops it was literally just that, salted caramel.. big chunks of sea salt over caramel. Incredibly tasty.

The salted caramel FW is a bit different though... and I kind of learned that through experiencing salted caramel outside of shops like Dairy Queen. I prefer the REAL salted caramel from my first experience, but with that said Salted Caramel FW is a good caramel... let it steep.

Thanks for the advice. I haven't done much with most common caramel flavors, but I see this one in recipes a lot.

It's in my top 5 caramels.. as long as I ignore the "salted" component. Caramel and Bananas are probably my only two areas of expertise.... LOL.

Im using the 0.2 right now at 25 watts and the flavour seems very good to me.....but then again I'm running Fran's ice cream base with Alpine strawberry and Meringue

I’m using the LMN# that I use a lot for testing. Maybe I should turn it down. I’m running 40 watts trying to reach the recommended range for that coil which is 45-60 if I remember correctly.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Custard tends to be lighter in the US? And I know everyone here likes there forward fruit top note. My custards are heavy and the idea has always been to mimic adding a spoon of jam to the custard so never forward in the mix....I don't think that would work for me....or in a heavy custard....just my two cents.

IDK if custards are lighter here. I hardly ever eat custard.

I hardly ever mixed recipes with custards until I really started looking at your recipes. You got me into mixing with custard and I thank you for that even though I like my custard lighter.

I have tried compote cherry-ssa- in a few mixes, good but strong, use sparingly.
I don't have juicy cherries-ssa, but it's on my list.
I have cherries-inw-which I like.

Good luck. Almost every time I lace an order I find something else I need ten minutes later.

I finally mixed one recipe. I made Fran’s ice cream base. It’s very good although my wonky taste buds probably need me to bump up the percentages slightly. I put a couple of drops of CAP peaches and cream in my tank with it while watching football last night and it was very good.

It’s too wet to mow with more rain expected so I’m doing inside chores. My Mom’s back is out so we will be picking up lunch to take to them. Grocery shop for them and us. I took off tomorrow as my son gets his Invisaligns.
