Nice order. The VT ice creams are really good. I used the regular VT Vanilla Ice Cream as a sub for the HA in the ice cream base and like it a lot. VT French Vanilla Ice Cream should be just fine.Okay, all this chatter about icream and pudding and custard bases has gotten to me. I broke down and bought the ingredients for Fran's ice cream base, except BCF didn't have HA French vanilla ice cream, so at least for now, I subbed VT. Don't hate on me too much. I'm also going to try a Jagerbomb recipe. I didn't really like any of the ones in ELR, so I'm going to try my own. Here's my BCF order. I'm hoping it'll be here by the time I'm back next week, because I'm going to be doing some major mixing then.

I bought HA French Vanilla Ice Cream from DIY Vapor Supply. Think they're the only ones who carry it. Next time I make IC base I'll use the HA.
My American Weigh Scales LB-501 can measure down to 0.01g. For me it's very useful when I only want to mix a 5ml or 10ml tester.
If Fran's scale goes down to 0.01g and she mixes 15mls, 0.07% would be 0.01 grams.
In a 15ml mix 0.07 grams is 0.45%
Fran and I have the same scale. Even though it goes to .01, it doesn't usually read until I hit .05-.08.
That’s where I got mine also. The VT is good and will be ok in the ice cream but IMO, the Hangsen is better.
Me too. I got up to about 195 and that's a bit too heavy for me.
I bought the pecans and cream because it was on sale, but I just might try it with the ice cream.
Just my opinions.
The FA is the most realistic, it's a ripe juicy apricot. FLV leans sweeter and is almost like a baked apricot. SSA tastes like a fresh apricot but is different compared to FA. I want to say it's not as ripe as FA.
The SSA is not as strong as the FA is. I use FA at 0.75%-2% in a mix. The SSA needs to start at 1.5%-2%. I've used the FLV between 1%-2%.
If you are happy with FA Apricot you probably don't need the other two. A tiny amount of FA Liquid Amber would give you a baked apricot and add a little sweetness to FA apricot.
At some point I want to try the FA and the SSA together to see if they will make a bolder apricot.

On ideas from yesterday, I want to write a Mango/Papaya Yogurt and possibly a Papaya Cashew Biscuit. I want to try a Grapefruit/Mango in ice cream, creamy custard or croissant.
I was going to say, that's my normal as soon as my feet hit the floor in the morning.
Yeah I am at 210 now. I don't look too heavy, but I find getting out of our Jacuzzi tub a bit more of a task.

That sounds like it might be good with the IC. I have it but haven't used it yet.
