I don’t know if it’s a national chain but I was at Menards today and saw that they have the organizers like the one I got at Jo Ann that I posted a picture of before. They are $12 at this store.

I don't ever remember Menards being anywhere other than Michigan, Wisconsin and maybe one other state. Not on east or west coast or in the south that I have seen.
I thought you went to Hobby Lobby when you found that case?

Which brand peanut butter do you like best?
Well, I was going to mix tomorrow. Tore my closet up looking for my bag of fresh bottles :grr:. Guess I’ll have to search for almost empties to wash and reuse.

You’re right. I forgot. I have to take my daughter to Jo Ann fairly often to get supplies for her sewing class at school. I just got confused.

Just a little info. for those wondering about the RF changes and 1 of the reasons given for them on FB, that was C&P into this thread:

Is the FDA trying to squeeze Flavor Manufacturers?

I asked Kimberly about the following specifically, Friday -

"Real Spices was created to fall in line with the new food laws provided to us by the FDA. Super Concentrate flavors can no longer be mailed to residential addresses effective immediately."

    I wanted to find out:
    1) if OSDIY has received info on any new food laws provided by the FDA

    2) if new laws or regs have been provided to OSDIY about shipping flavorings to residential addresses

Her answer to both was No...they've received no info at all from the FDA about either of those. It's business as usual for them.

I told her that based on RF's comments, some people were kind of wondering if they should stock up on favorite flavorings from manufacturers, in much larger quantities. Her opinion was that it wasn't necessary.

ETA: This morning I did some browsing around OSDIY to see what they carry in RF flavorings. They have a good variety in 9mL and 30mL sizes, including the Soda Base SC, the Samoa Cookie Type, and the ABC SC that some of you mentioned. So that's another source for those, even if Real Spices won't be shipping to residential addresses.

I only have one , INW malina/raspberry. I have a sneaking suspicion this is leading to adding to the list.

So, can we add strawberry to your question? I only have FA red touch strawberry. Tried a mix from a couple months ago and it seems to have faded away

OSDIY is a good strawberry to use. Higher %'s also produce a 2nd taste of the rind, kind of a 'green' taste but lower % <5 is really good. It is their blend called Succulent Strawberry.

I have also heard that mixing TFA Ripe strawberry with either TFA Strawberry or FA's strawberry gives the flavoring a more robust taste. Have not tried it myself tho. Caps Sweet Strawberry is good also. Does not fade per se but is better when fresh.

As for Raspberry I just had Pur Raspberry fade on me. Mix is only 3 months old.
You know thinking about fading, the only flavors that I have that do not fade are from Flavor West. Single flavors like, juicy fruit, spearmint, bubble gum, skittles. In fact, they grow stronger with time if allowed to continue(storage). So does their Peanut Butter. When I first started DIY there wasn't a lot of flavorings available to the public so I just started with simple basic recipes. At least I had something to vape that I liked well enough. Using FW's standard suggested starting %(around 15%) seemed a bit high to me but allowed me to vape almost immediately. As time went on these flavorings kept getting stronger. So much so that I had to split in half to be able to continue to vape them. It happened around the time I was lowering my nic strength so it worked out well for me. Interesting that the new flavorings can be vaped with little steep time but seem to fade. I guess making large bottles(250+) with new flavors may not be such a good idea unless you are ok with boosting the flavor say in a 30ml bottle when transferring. Just thinking out loud....lol

    :)
