Man this thread is sort of mind boggling to a novice DIYer. So many recipes, ideas, and wish-list items floating around. Basil? If I were advanced enough I bet I could make something good with that but I'm not there yet! I guess I'm saying this because I've talked a lot about what I'm doing without really commenting on what others are doing. It isn't that I'm not interested. But I gotta keep things relatively simple, I'm just trying to find a few good mixes that I can make well, then expand from there.

I'm not complaining though! This is a great thread and we're all getting a lot out of it I think. Carry on.

That's the best way to go, Nate. A few easy mixes to keep you happily vaping, branch out into other recipes once you have a solid stock of what you know you like.

I'll often make up a 10 ml sampler of a new flavoring, solo, so I can get a feel for what it's like. Hard to adjust a complex mix if you don't know the individual flavorings. Some, of course, are good ONLY when in a mix. (Not sure I'd try basil solo!!)

I've had more successes with my mixes of the last 3-4 weeks and that has me excited about mixing again. The urge to try new stuff has certainly taken an odd turn. From boozy juice to cucumber and basil........can't wait to see what comes next.

I think this thread you've created is getting the "juices flowing" for many of us Fran. Appreciate you opening it up.

    I've learned I don't have a problem, y'all have the problem.

I don't think I've been tempted into buying anything. If I did I forgot.
I got ideas for what I have. Actually the Andes Candies is going to be a pretty regular vape for me. I would've forgotten all about having Creme de Menthe without this thread.

I’m not sure why but I stopped getting notifications for this thread sometime yesterday. I just had 5 pages to catch up! Good stuff though. When I’m busy I jump off and on as I can only checking notifs. This evening it dawned on me that I haven’t received any. So I check and I’m still “watching this thread”. Is this odd or have others experienced?
I wanted to mention a mixer I came across on ELR a bit ago who goes by Smokey Blue. A few weeks ago I found a recipe I wanted to mix which called for Graham Cracker followed by Smokey Blue as if it was the brand. In the comments a couple mentioned how good it is. I searched and searched online but found nothing of Smokey Blue flavorings. So when I stumbled across SB today, I was elated! I’ve never seen recipes the way SB writes them! They’re between around 2-4% total flavoring using around 7-11 flavors, all under 1%. And all comments are as if SB’s mixes are the best ever! Maybe Smokey Blue &/or SB recipes aren’t new to you all here, but I find them rather intriguing and can’t wait to learn from them!

I've seen those but really have no interest. Gave up on those many multi flavor recipes long ago. I have a great love for 3-5 flavor recipes.

Someone mentioned avocado the other day. I’m reading cooking recipes. One that got lots of thumbs up was an avocado mango salad with mozzarella (creamy) pine nuts and arugula (peppery so maybe nic would fill that). I’m not into nutty or creamy vapes, but it ain’t all about me. One of y’all might want to give it a test

@PJReid All I need is the percentage of cranberry in the Cranberry Pom Champagne

    Cranberry Pomegranate Champagne Sparkler
    Cranberry (TFA) 3%
    Lemon Sicily (FA) 1%
    Lemonade (LA) 2%
Lime Tahity (Cold Pressed) (FA) 1%
    Pink Champagne (FW) 2%
    Pomegranate (FA) 0.75%
    Pomegranate (TFA) 4%
SugarDaddy Sweetener 1% (reduce or leave out for a more tart juice)
    WS-23 30% 0.5%

After vaping it all day today I would reduce or leave out the sweetener. If it needs a little, easy enough to add in a little at a time. I like sweet vapes, but think this is a bit too sweet for the tart profile. JMHO. LA Lemonade is already pretty sweet, TFA Cranberry is mildly sweet - that might be enough. I am going to try it without sweetener and if it is too tart, add sweetener in small increments until I get to the right spot.

I REALLY do like this one!
