    Morning time travellers :D

    Lots been going on here so have been offline for a while. Still wading through my big bottles of adv's with more steeping! I did mix six new recipes two days ago...hope they turn out ok.

    We're off to the Tarn SW France next week. Not relishing the eight hour drive but we'll do it in two stages and spend the night somewhere on route. Going up to see V's cousin who has metastatic bone cancer which has now spread to her liver, poor thing. She can't use her left arm. We've been pretty worried about her. She lives alone in a rural area and has had to rely on friends for support/visits. Looking forward to seeing her and we'll be guided by her in terms of socialising. Not a great situation at all :(

    Hope you're well Fran :wub:
    Good morning, Charlie :wub: I am doing well. Very sorry to hear about V’s cousin.:(

    Good morning. Plan besides coffee is to get a review posted, set up another rda, and try my chocolate mix. I haven’t used chocolate in a long time.
    I like chocolates. Not as much as fruits though.

    It’s the same with Peanut Butter. I like it but like my fruits better.
    But my peanut butter mix is still a nice change.

    @Zazie with thanks. @NolaMel

    Peanut Butter and Custard
    TFA DX Peanut Butter 5%
    FLV Milk and Honey 1.25%
    FA Custard Premium 2.5%

    Sure hope your smell and taste comes back sometime soon. My gd has the same problem.

    My brother in law and his teenage daughter got covid last fall. He never quite recovered, has a cough that never went away and intermittent lack of energy. He was a super fit long distance cyclist, can't do that stuff any more. She recovered quickly but now months later she is losing smell and taste. Strange disease.

    I'm getting the second booster next week.

    It is strange and also can be very bad to get even if no hospital stay is needed.

    Dd is working til noon today and then we are going to the movies so I’ll be out for awhile later. Right now it’s still coffee and vape.

    What are you going to see?

    @hittman A couple questions.

    How low does your coil sit in the Fat Rabbit Solo? Also I have never used a flat coil and thinking of using the one that came with the Fat Rabbit. The coil is a .37 ohm. What wattage would I need to use? Will I need to trim the legs?

    Yes, trim the legs. I don't remember if it came with a coil measuring tool. I'd probably run that coil somewhere between 35-45 watts. I cut my coil legs at 5mm but you could probably do 4mm also.

    Morning, mixers, and happy Saturday!

    Yesterday's guessed at rain didn't happen, at least not on us. Did make for a more pleasant (less unpleasant?) town run, not getting soaked while loading up our unloading... but talking about winter storm warnings through the weekend, only down to about 2500', so no snow here. And, uh, rumor control central says maybe FEET of snow up there!

    Someone had given her a Harry&David's Chicken Pot Pie for Christmas. It was so good but only a one-time thing for me because they were $64.99 for two. Sheesh! Ain't no pot pie worth that unless it is served to me by Aquaman while I am lounging in a silk nightie! heehee

    Pat makes her own :) What to do with left over beef or pork roast, chicken, Pilsbury crusts, in a "regular" pie pan. Although when younger she did make her own. Better than any store bought we've had, fresher and a whole lot cheaper!!

    It does come with that tool but I don’t have a clue how to use it. Guess I’ll have to take another look at it. So the coil should sit rather low then?
    I do really like the tank. Super easy to coil, simple to fill, lots of air option. Just have to get the coil and wicking down the way I like.

    Jesus that is crazy. Next time someone says Covid is just like the flu I think I will just go ahead and pop them one in the nose. And I am sure the doctors have no clue how to resolve those long term effects either. Hope they fully recover soon.

    The flu is no joke either, but at it wasn't manufactured.

    My wife uses some lozenges when she can’t smoke. There are also many brands of nicotine pouches on the market. I tried three different ones made by 77 and they almost taste like candy.
    You are probably not old enough to remember the nicotine lollipops. They were my absolute favorite, they tasted great and you still had some hand to mouth action. But our friends at the FDA made them illegal, those guys seriously need to lighten up. Bet they are no fun at parties either.
