Morning, mixers, and happy Saturday :)

More rain, cooler temps, and they're now muttering about snow at sea level, maybe starting tonight! Of course, the ground is back above freezing, so if it does come down it probably won't stay around long. Uh huh. There've been a few times over the years when the predicted "light dusting" was a foot....

Hoping you just get the dusting if you do get anything. It’s snowed in April here before plenty of times. Hoping it’s done for this year.

Well, no need to go anywhere if it does, although the garden beds may not like it... and the ground is back above freezing, so it shouldn't stick around too long, anyway. But the extra feet they're talking about in the mountains is a good thing :)

Before I left this morning one of my rta's got filled with a new test mix.

    Creamy Pineapple Wafer
    CAP Wafer Crunch 3%
    CAP Fresh Pineapple 2%
    WF Vanilla Cream Extra 1.25%
    WF Frozen Yogurt 1%

It was mainly a mix for me to get familiar with the new CAP wafer and pineapple. I nearly vaped the entire tank on my ride up north. It grew on me quickly.

CAP Wafer Crunch is excellent! IMO it is easily the best tasting wafer around. WF Crispy Wafer SC, WF Sugar Cone SC and SSA Crisp Waffle are really good BUT the new CAP Wafer Crunch totally blows them out of the water.

At 3% Wafer Crunch is a "complete" wafer experience. Smooth. No rough edges. Very tasty.

CAP Fresh Pineapple is another winner from Capella! Very realistic. None of the sharp acidic qualities that some of the other pineapples have. It is a very smooth tasting pineapple.

At 2% I get a nice light pineapple, which is exactly what I was after for this mix. CAP Fresh Pineapple could easily be pushed further if desired.

Back to the CAP Wafer Crunch... it would make the perfect cone in an ice cream mix. Going forward, I see it as a very useful flavor in several recipes.

@Zazie can you please add this to your blog? Thank you! :)

We’ve been staying above freezing for awhile now.

My picky tastebuds don’t like pineapple but I may stick a different fruit in there. Any suggestions?

What kind of containers did you get?

    Robot or human?

I had two already and they were on sale the other day for 9.98. I like these better than the deep storage containers I got before. They aren’t as deep and easier to find stuff in.

A couple fruit ideas... not all, as I am certain there are more...

Mango. Papaya. Apricot. Pear. Grapefruit (depending on which one).

VT passion fruit & mango. WF Pitaya (dragonfruit). FA Pomegranate.

    Guava. Kiwi. Honeysuckle.

Lemon. Orange. Banana. Coconut. Apple. Honeydew.

I know you can't vape/don't like a couple of those, but I can :D, and could easily see any of those working well with CAP Wafer Crunch.

I'll have to decide between 3 of those.

The last time a package went through Hong Kong, I wondered if the Chinese would make 50 copies of the content before sending it on.

I was about a couple hours out of the city when my brain decided that would be the perfect time to inform me that I forgot my box of new mixes on the kitchen table.

Oh well, I always forget something.
You said you wouldn't do that. Ha

Every time you gaze lovingly into your dogs' eyes, its levels of oxytocin — the “attachment hormone” — go up. And so do yours. Oxytocin has long been referred to as “the love hormone” and the “cuddle hormone,” because we (and our pets) release it when we hug, touch, or look lovingly into someone's eyes.
