And this is what you used in the Fig and Mascarpone, right? I really want to try that one sometime. Unfortunately, I neglected to include butter pecan in either of the orders I placed on Saturday (though I did manage to double-order HA Italian Cream and FLV Mango, also unfortunately), so it'll have to wait. Though maybe it would work with hazelnut or almond? I have CAP Hazelnut, FA Hazel Grove, FA Almond, and TFA Toasted Almond, and I'll be getting WF Hazelnut and Cream soon.
I can’t find the second recipe in my notes... it was originally mascarpone stuffed figs with pistachios, orange zest and pomegranate (again based on an irl recipe). Second time I made it with red dates. All I can find is the almost empty bottle with just the name on the label I saved to seed the remix :facepalm:. Foiled by my own disorganization :blush:

    I'm to the point of slacking. Not a lot I want/need anymore.Or at least at this point. I have only 3 flavors on my wishlist and one is just a back-up bottle of Cap NY Cheesecake V1. I'm iffy on even wanting the other 2. Cap Fizz Pop and INW Mango Tango.

    With as many as you have, I'm not surprised there isn't much on your list. You should post your complete flavor list so I can see what I'm missing.:D

    I was trying to copy an irl cc dessert my MIL makes. It has crushed pecans, orange zest and diced figs in the crust. Her cc has mascarpone in it.

    Tried the orange/fig cheesecake mix. It’s just at 4 weeks ( stop reading @FranC , it’s sweet), but I think it’ll be a keeper. Could use a bit more lime, and add a touch toasted almond.

    Guess I didn't register that they're versions of the same recipe. I'll merge the two in my records, with the amendments you just mentioned.

    Is there more than one inw mango? The one I tried I gave away.

    FA Marzipan 0.5%
    INA Orange Shisha (for orange zest--no sub) 1.5%

    Fill to top with Fran's cheesecake base #2 (already steeped), then steep an additional 30 days (or as little as a week, if you want it sweeter).

    One question, though: You say to add two drops of Lime Tahity, but for what volume? Two drops in a 10ml tester would be pretty different from the same amount in 100mls.

    No, I’m a hot mess sometimes. That’s the last version. You may want more pecan, or sub almond for marzipan. I couldn’t find my almond when I made it, so I subbed then found I liked it. Torrone might be an interesting sub too. I did try several different oranges before settling on that one. To me it’s the blend of the nuts,orange and fig that makes it work. For goodness sake, make a tiny sample bottle. I like some odd blends, and I’d hate for you to waste any precious cc base! I consider that cc blend a gold star staple.

    I added the two mango flavors to my wishlist and I'm afraid that I'm almost up to free shipping again. I had no intention on making that big of an order again. I'm going to wait a little longer. I'm trying to wait out the lemon meringue tart coming back in stock.

    I ended up buying 4 10ml bottles of the VT Lemon Meringue Tart from Chefs Flavours. I wish they had bigger bottles but nope.

    Just 70ml of lemon meringue tart. I’m going to save the rest of my bcf wishlist for later. I’m going to try to wait until I get my commission check after the first to do a big bcf order.
