I've only done a little toying around here with flavor extractions, so I really don't know, but maybe alcohol just works better? I'm actually trying to determine that myself right now with this little experiment:
Of those three jars of brown sludge on the left, one is tobacco steeping in VG, one in PG, and one in alcohol. I should have an answer in another couple months or so.
Please do let us know, I'm planning a similar "experiment" as well. Did you use ethyl alcohol, or something else?
Ok, good to know, was thinking everclear or something 180 proof to try so not as much water gets in there, not that it matters, proper steeping would take care of that as well, just a little slower.
I would rather have used Everclear, honestly, but had a hell of a time finding it locally on the day I was itching to start trying that. Most stuff I'd read on extractions seemed to indicate anything over 80 proof would do the job, and I already had the Absolut just sitting there...
Caitlin, is your package still "lost," and likely never to return?
I sure hope not. If so, pm me, I got the large bottle and want you to at least get to try it. 
Well I tried it again tonight and I still dont like it. I dont like my Pendragon from MOV either. Maybe NET's just arent for me. I took about 4 puffs of Ravyn and thats all I could stand. I dumped what I put in my vivi back into the bottle so its mostly still a full bottle aside from what evaporated from steeping. I think it will stay a full bottle
