Well I tried it again tonight and I still dont like it. I dont like my Pendragon from MOV either. Maybe NET's just arent for me. I took about 4 puffs of Ravyn and thats all I could stand. I dumped what I put in my vivi back into the bottle so its mostly still a full bottle aside from what evaporated from steeping. I think it will stay a full bottle

Just because you don't like this NET or that NET doesn't mean all NETs aren't for you.

I like it so far, not the best NET I've had for my taste, but then again the BEST NET I didn't even like until week two or three, so who knows what the future holds.

You very well could be right its just that with my first 2 NET's so far its been a bad first impression. I was really hoping that I would have liked this juice. That chemical taste from the alcohol just won't go away it over powers everything. I don't taste anything but that. No tobacco, no Carmel, no butterscotch, no blackberries or whatever it is I'm supposed to be tasting it just isnt there. Not trying to be a party crasher or discourage anyone I'm just really bummed out that I don't like it. I guess it's not for everyone. Ya win some some lose some that's ok. I hope you guys like yours.

I have tried it. My tastebuds are a bit funny today (could hardly taste Twas Brillig this morning) so I will not say too much for now.

One thing though that is apparent is that it is a Hardcore NET and I do get the Raisin flavor right off the bat.
No chemical or alcohol taste apparent in scent or taste but that might be because mine is well pre-steeped (Birthdate of the juice is 01-14)

It has a very dry but not unpleasant mouth-feel and the Raisin is most apparent on the exhale and aftertaste.

Definatly more bold old fashioned simple pipe tobacco overall for me right now - but as I said - I do not trust my tastebuds today.

Very light amber in color at the moment.

I have sent some off to Scarf-ace today so hopefully she will receive it tomorrow together with samples of all other AiV's.

She knows a lot more about NET's than I do so I would really trust her judgement over mine once she shares it on here.

I have split my 4 bottles up for others and I am left with about 20ml so I will re-visit once my taste returns.

I am still vaping away on some as I filled a new Vivi with 1.8 head with it as soon as it arrived.

I may have seen you post it previously, but what was the first NET that also didn't live up to your taste buds? If you want to give it additional effort, it might help narrow down what to try and what to avoid. I think I may recall it was an HHV, but not sure nor which one. How long has Ravyn steeped now for you? Some can drastically change between week 3 and 4 I'm finding.

I am looking forward to Scarf-ace's view on Ravyn - be it good or bad - as I know it will be honest and come from someone who knows what she is talking about and people respect her view on things.

Yeah - I get Raisin - right away and I am not questioning that myself but my hubby for instance gets date - definatly some dried fruit flavor - NEITHER one of us gets ANY chemical taste from it though however.

I didn't like Pendragon until about 9 days of steeping went by. It was flavorless initially, but the cherry came through big eventually, and now the tobacco does too. I think NET's may just be very special steeping snowflakes? It's my first one too but as a general impression I've seen it said elsewhere as well. I'll just make a "fine wine" shelf in the juice box and let them do their thing I guess.

For some reason every NET improves if I fill it into a delivery device and forget about it for several days. I think the hot weather at the moment really accellerates the steeping process at the moment too.

"Stark Winter" which is also NET based as far as I know also improved dramatically after a week or so forgotten in a Vivi.

I had some more "Gandalf" just then out of curiosity (almost a month after I got it) and it also tastes better than I remember.

I think it is not fair to judge any NET for the first few weeks - at least not to make up ones mind completely.

Most reach their prime many weeks after we receive them in the mail.

I've had vapes too that were flavorless initially and turned into amazing juices after aging a bit. Time is a friend to so many juices, plus finding the right juice delivery system it plays best on.

Yeah, that can definitely help... tobacco does love to steep. Some juices though... well, some need a little care. There are a few that if left unattended in something made of polycarbonate will taste more and more like plastic the longer they sit. It seems to be a much wider range of juices than just the one's that'll chew through the tanks, though those can be particularly annoying when you come back to find a puddle where your atty used to be.

If I know going to leave something sitting around for days or weeks outside the bottle, I'll try to make sure it's in something glass.

I keep looking at other delivery devices but for some reason I have taken a liking to my Vivi Nova's - Never spill or leak and always get consistently good draw flavor and TH.

I will invest in a Spheroid soon so will be able to compare it to something less amateur soon.

Pretty sure it was a 30. He gave me about 10 of it, which I doubt he'd have done if it was a 15.

Kewl - I have sent some of my Ravyn's all over Australia - some even over to Austria - and one will go back to the US.

This Ravyn is travelling far distances I tell ya!


I honestly think no Ravyn out there had sufficient time to steep to reach it's prime.

Even at almost 3 weeks since creation mine still seems very 'fresh' and not ready to vape.

Absolutely Alegria, my favorite juice in the world, a NET of course, I didn't at all like, was my LEAST favorite until the second and third week in fact, but then just WOW. And now, 3.5 weeks later it has changed again, and isn't quite as good. Still great, but not my favorite at this point in time. I think it is important, therefore to try them at every point along the way, pre steep, two or three days steeped, full week steeped, etc. you just never know when your own personal "peak" is going to be until you've evaluated it in this manner, IMO.

I liked Ravyn fresh, like it a little more one week later, and am hoping at two weeks or three weeks or whatever, that it completely bowls me over. We shall see!
