3mm diameter coil used 1/2 diameter of rayon coil, if anything might haven to thin a bit more on tail , time will tell either way.

Thx 54, i know as ive been a rayonatti for about a year now.
was posting pics more for the newbs as they seem to be afraid to thin the tails to the extreme
I know you're seasoned, I wasn't saying you needed advice. A second pair of eyes never hurts though.
Thank you too for posting that. Yesterday, I wicked an RSST with some rayon. Yes, I know most suggest using SS mesh. I am going to be using the rayon for squonking and wanted to have a little prior experience before hand. I obviously over stuffed the coil with rayon from your post's example. Now, I know.
Still I am indeed enjoying the rayon wick. The "strawberry shine" juice I come up tastes a lot cleaner and sweeter than it does in silica, Ready X wicks. A friend discredit rayon by saying it may get too hot. As of yet, not seen that to happen. Kind of doubting it too. See many here using rayon with no issues reported. The friend tends upon one of the 'know all' types.

My wife uses 4 RSSTs. 2 with 2 hole drilled caps and 2 with the madvapes adjustable 2 hole caps. I build a 30ga, 7/64/2.8mm coil at 1.6-2.2 ohms depending on the mod. Works great.
I'll give them a call. Will they work with any established business, regardless the type (e.g. restaurant, vape shop)?
Even if they would ship to any kind of business, the bigger problem would be that you'd have to order in very large quantities. 20+ pounds is an awful lot of rayon.
You wouldn't be the first to call, we've been there.

Still using rayon, and love it more and more every wicking! I just wanted to stop in and see you guys 
This last one I made is a 28ga, 4 loose wraps around a 2mm screwdriver. It reads out at ~0.95oHm. The cap I use has a 1/16th inch air hole. May eventually get round to getting one w/ the Pyrex tank. Note if I use Hawk Sauce in the poly tank it can be troublesome. Am happy the poly is not threaded to the the metal and the worst trouble is slipping apart easily. Otherwise, suspect a poly would "crack".

This is my first foray into squonking, so... I'm still kinda figuring it all out.
You're absolutely right there! I had a nasty dry hit on the way in to work this morning... squonked at the red light and it was clear before I crossed the intersection!

I wrecked a coil this morning pulling the rayon through..definitely still a novice 
last night and today I'm having trouble with the wicking, I'm finding it tough to thin tails and keep everything even, but I'm determined to become a pro because the first wick I did is still going strong - best flavor I've ever had, my diy juice suddenly tastes amaaaazing. The longer the wick goes, the better the flavor seems to be getting (opposite of cotton). I just recoiled the wrecked atty, wicked it - pretty sure the tails aren't great but oh man it's so good.
New observation if I may...seems like flavors that normally scorch a bit under heat with cotton, taste clean and unscorched with rayon. EG chocolate. The chocolate in this chocolate baccy recipe normally tastes a little nasty when my ohms go below ~1 ohm. I'm running .71 with rayon and a) the baccy taste is stronger and b) the chocolate tastes sooooo good.

Know you see how I can go 2-300ml on kanthal, at high power, with no normal maintenance. It just keeps going and going.
If you pull it, opposing, close to the coil it will pull it tight and make it easier to pull through. If you take a piece and try to pull it apart with fingers an inch apart it's unbreakable and it tightens it down similar to a rubber band shrinking when pulled. If you pull from 3-5 inches it stretches thinner and will pull apart easily
