Ok this morning's effort.

I made the kanthal coil 2.5(ID) 30g 5 wraps. It's not the prettiest.....fast to fire but a bit fragile and measures 1.6ohm so I felt comfortable to put it back where it belongs. :p Still need more practice but my Sirroco mod is back in my hand.

Sometimes I forget how truly small those things are, it's been a while. Hope it works out for you one way or another.

I had a bit of a brainstorming and I also tried something else. I think one of the potential problems is the inconsistency of stuffing either cotton or rayon down to block the holes in the bottom and potentially disturb the coil. I have some silica felt that I used hole punchs to make a small donut that fitted the coil head. Two donuts were the right dept to sit under the coil and fill up the bottom of the coil head. I inserted them before I setup the coil. This leaves the coil and wick free to do what they should and imparts no discernible taste to the vape. It's is also repeatable.

Ok, little update, I have been TDY to Leavenworth for the past 4 days. I brought my billow because it is the one that I have gotten to work almost without an issue. Decided to pick up the gemini because of a few added features to the griffen. I wicked it up and it has been going strong since then. Have not even taken the deck off to look because I get no sizzle no hits that are even close to dry and I am loving it, I am on fill number 8 at this point.

Yesterday I dropped a 26g 2.5mm, 1.1ohm coil in the bachelor tank - wicked with rayon of course. Vaped it at 50w, 7.5v all day yesterday. Just shot the wick pics today.

402mw/mm², 41mj/k

One thing that irks me a bit is with the 26 the legs will want to move a little when you tighten them. I was hoping for no leg movement with this, but it's not too bad. What I do is see which way the leg is going to move then hold the coil mandrel to the opposite side against the slot then tighten and it will sit straighter. I do this for each side while tightening.

It's pretty good, handles 50w to a single coil. More flow than I've had on a single coil tank before. Has a slight restriction that's noticeable compared to a dripper. Said to be slightly smoother than the serpent. It's got more flow than the fev drilled to 3mm. I didn't like the post arrange to in the serpent.

Ridiculously easy to wick. Like a oversized evod or protank. Straight though and cut.

Sound good, the only subohm tank I have is the Zephyrus which is dual coil only when using the rebuildable section. I have an orchid v3 which could be considered a subohm tank but also dual only, both the Zephyrus and Orchid are a freaking nightmare to build when compared to most anything else.

I want something easy to build, screws must not cut wire out of the box, single coil, nice airflow with 4+ml capacity.

Sitting down, facing forward.
You're killing me, Jeremy, with the descriptions of the Bachelor. Looks like I'll be ordering one from SlowTech along with an Aromamizer Supreme. My only real complaint with the Aromamizer is trimming the wicks is a lot of guesswork because you really can't see the bottom of the deck...it's not exposed like most tanks nd more like a well.

I received two Lemo 2s. The first one I trimmed and angle cut the tails and left a tiny string of wick in the channel. The second I cut to the deck. The first has small bubbles every few puffs but the second doesn't seem to bubble unless I tilt it almost flat and then it is a big bubble. I've never had a tank with channels before. Is this normal? Both make a lot of vapor but more on the dry side than my STMs.

I am getting one of those in hopefully right before wed, I guess what I am not seeing is how to trim the tails in this case

Yep, I wanted to get away from under screw head and cutting pinch screws. This does it... The only thing is not to over tighten the positive set screw or it will bend the leg and make it tough to get back out. I've heard not all of them have that issue.. . I always do a thorough comparison before I buy anything, this won.

Eciggity has it for 24.00 and the shipping is fast.

The air hole is 4mm in the deck. It pulls more easily than the FEV drilled to 3mm. It's not as open as a dual coil atty obviously, only one air hole instead of two, but for a single coil it's very good. I can hit it at 50w, could go more but that's about all I can take. Also I can do that with the air flow open 50%.

You just cut them striaght off, flush, right outside the cup... Easy as it gets..

If your going over a 3mm diameter coil you'll have to cut some out of the slot density otherwise it will be too tight to feed for 40-50w with 94% vg. :)

The first way was the 'right' way. Since the wick drops down, you have to thin.

You can probably just 45° and trim to just lay on the deck. Should be fine without putting anything I the channels. But whatever works for your wattage and juice thickness.

The jumbo thick rayon on the deck is blocking it from getting air back into the tank.

I'm gonna have to order one. I haven't spent anything on vaping in a couple months. If it has your approval, I'll judge that as a pretty good pedigree and I'm overdue.

It's on the way.
